The staff, together with the lovely owner-family, Paolo and his wife, everyone was very helpful and friendly, did everything to make our stay wonderful. The hotel, the rooms, and the restaurant were immaculate clean. The room was spacious for 3 of us. There was even a coffee maker and water upon arrival. Not to mention the restaurant where the food was really delicious. The hotel was designed and is being run with a great sense to details to make the guests' stay more comfortable.

The hosts were kind, friendly and helpful.. The breakfast was delicious and had a good variety of fruits, bread, ham, baked pastries and great coffee. The lake is less than 15 minutes walk downhill from the property. There is one small restaurant with great food, a few meters away from the property. The town Portese is small, calm and beautiful with fewer tourists and it has a small harbor with ferry connections to Garda, Salo and Sirmione.

Reasonable 20 min walk into Lazise. Great, fresh selection for breakfast. Rooms have mini fridge with reasonable charges - the water was a must! Pool perfect for couples who want peace and quiet after hustle and bustle of Lazise. Staff very attentive and Sofie kindly helped us with onward travel. Would highly recommend Re Ottone Rooms for those looking quality in a peaceful setting.
