The location is a smidge away from Hirosaki city, however, if you like the countryside, the Asyl is perfect for long walks in the evening and at night. The owners are absolutely lovely, warm and friendly people, so please don't let the awkwardness of a language barrier hold you back. We managed to talk together with a mix of broken english and japanese, as well as a lot of help from translation apps.

Comfortable, very clean and new, nicely furnished, well equipped, cheap. It genuinely felt even better than staying in my own house, and I would have loved to stay many days more there. The host is also really nice and gave us good recommendations about sightseeing in the area.

Misato Memorial Hall - Vacation STAY 61405v bevindt zich in Hirakawa, op 42 km van Towada-meer en 50 km van warmwaterbron Tsuta, en is voorzien van gratis WiFi in de hele accommodatie. This was the best place we stayed in our entire trip to Japan! Tama is a wonderful host and will advise on what to do around Hiraka and Hirosaki, the place is clean and cozy and the cats are adorable (especially Fox!). Also, the breakfast was excellent. Highly recommend Misato Memorial Hall if you're travelling and want to know more about Japan and the Japanese culture. Thank you Tama for the excellent stay!
