We had to inform them that someone on our reservation was unable to come due to an illness, and they went out of their way to get her a souvenir! How kind is that?! When you arrive, they give you a cup of, possibly, the most delicious heated orange juice I have ever had. Genuinely both my brother and I were shocked at how good it was lol. They were also very complementary of my terrible japanese, so bonus points for hyping me up XD. The stay itself is quite small, but it has a magnificent view out of the window to the beach and the palm trees, and the sunset over the mountain is breathtaking. It also has everything you would need for a stay, fridge, microwave, table, kitchenette, etc. Special shoutouts to the shower, holy crap the heat and water pressure from that thing were life changing, and I wish I could have taken that shower home with me. Genuinely in the months that I have stayed in Japan that was the best shower I have ever had. No worries about food, there is a Konbini very close as well. All in all this was a wonderful stay, very convenient, hosts were really nice. Absolutely will try to stay here again when I retry the Shimanami Kaido.

Everything was super clean, the spaces are really nice and it is perfectly located in the middle point of Shimanami Kaido :)

L’établissement Guesthouse Farmor - Vacation STAY 15083v se situe à Imabari, à 31 km de ce lieu d’intérêt : Oogamiyama Omoto Shrine. Absolument tout! Un endroit authentique et chaleureux. On était comme chez nous. Un grand merci à Madame Atsuko qui a été très bienveillante et qui nous a bien conseillés. Ōmishima est une magnifique étape sur la Shimanami kaido.

This lovely traditional Japanese house was a wonderful place to stay on our bike trip. While neither party could speak the other's language very well, we were able to communicate fine. The luxury touches in the beautiful and spacious rooms made everything feel welcoming. If you like fish, make sure to order the kaiseki meal that the hosts will prepare for you. It is worth every penny. They also offer a simple but elegant breakfast included in the stay. We started calling this the "it's all downhill from here house" because we knew we wouldn't be staying in anything as grand for the rest of our trip.

L’établissement Cinnamon Guesthouse Dogo est idéalement situé dans le quartier Dogo Onsen de Matsuyama, à respectivement 900 mètres, 1,2 km et 1,7 km de ces lieux d’intérêt : Joshin-ji Temple,... Super petit hostel juste à côté du célèbre Onsen, le personnel extrêmement gentil, chambre traditionnelle japonaise avec vue sur les toits 🙌🏻

L’établissement Cyclo No Ie se trouve à Imabari, à respectivement 17 km et 18 km de ces lieux d’intérêt : Henjou-in Temple et Kawara Museum. Everything. I enjoyed my stay here and loved the little touches and details. Everything was thoughtful.

L’établissement ゲストハウス こごみ庵 se situe à Shikokuchuo, à respectivement 40 km et 42 km de ces lieux d’intérêt : Kuroshima Seashore Park Lookout Park et Yamane Park. It was so good we stayed twice! Remi and Toyo really looked after us so well we had a really lovely time. The traditional house is so beautiful and the futons comfy and warm. Overall a great stay!

L’établissement guesthouse KIKUKO se trouve à Saijo, à respectivement 32 km et 33 km de ces lieux d’intérêt : Cools Mall et To-on Park. Il propose un jardin ainsi qu’un parking privé gratuit. Host speaks fluent English and is eager to help. He helped me out with a couple of things, while I only stayed there for one night. Spacious rooms in a quite environment.
