Die Lage ist ganz gut. Einen Supermarkt ist in der Nähe jedoch nur bis ca. 18 Uhr auf. Die Unterkunft ist sauber und die Gastgeberin ist sehr nett! Die Wohnung ist sehr gut ausgestattet hat aber leider keine Klimaanlage oder Moskitonetz. Wir hatten einen Stromausfall und die Gastgeberin hat innerhalb 5 min geantwortet und das Problem konnte schnell gelöst werden!

Everyone is very friendly especially Kiko who accommodated our early arrival before check in time with a complimentary breakfast. Grace and Erick were exceptional in their sevices. The location is very tranquil. I highly recommend.

It was really a very special and unique experience to stay at Blue Monkey. Everything is simple but well thought through, so I wasn't missing anything. The solar panel allowed to keep the phone charged even though the place is not grid connected, showering with the bucket is no problem. Ismail is the most friendly and helpful host you could imagine. He showed me the village, helped organize a snorkel tour and had a lot to tell about the history of the place and the village. Wasini island is stunning with coral reefs, mangrove forests, dolphins swimming nearby. Overall, highly recommended!

I had a wonderful stay at Casa Del Artista. The place is spacious, artistic, and very homely, with a quiet and serene environment perfect for relaxation. The host, Damine, is warm, welcoming, and extremely helpful—a special thank you to her for making my stay so enjoyable. The kitchen is fully equipped, giving a true home-away-from-home feel. The location is excellent, close to Diani Airport, Diani Beach, and the Diani shopping centre, making it convenient for both leisure and necessities. Adding a swimming pool would make Casa Del Artista the perfect destination. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful, comfortable, and inspiring stay in Diani.

I had a wonderful stay at Diani Yoga Barn. After 2 months of traveling in East Africa, I needed a retreat to rest and enjoy nature for a few days. My room was spacious and the bed comfortable. There is a large terrace upstairs with beautiful views of the surrounding forest where they give yoga, meditation and sound healing classes. I started the morning with yoga every day lead by one of the two owners alternately. As a vegan I didn’t have to go out to restaurants for breakfast or dinner because their food was freshly prepared, well balanced, reasonably priced and delicious. I walked to the pristine beach which is about 1 kilometer away. A lovely walk through well maintained dirt roads and lots of greenery surrounding huge mansions. I felt safe walking during the day but I didn’t go out at night. They are happy to arrange tuktuks or motorcycles if you prefer not to walk. The highlight for me was to play drums with the Kenyan owner who also provides tours in a comfortable car. He has created a cultural group of young men from his village who are training in drumming, singing, dancing, acrobatics, and yoga. It was great to see them at their daily practice in the afternoon, entertainment on site! They are welcoming and respectful of guests privacy but I strongly recommend you join in the fun. I was grateful that they don’t allow parties or alcoholic beverages to maintain their healing and relaxing concept. Follow them on Instagram for special retreats, and class schedules. I highly recommend the Yoga Barn for anyone who enjoys a relaxed, quiet, rustic, natural retreat run by two caring hosts.
