Comfort ,Cleanliness and the amenities which they offered for this price not even expensive hotels will be provided. This one we got to know after experiencing other accommodation where we were in Sri Lanka. For Appleton Villa it’s all about service and caring while others only the money. The best thing that happened there was the welcoming and outstanding hospitality from staff who made our stay enjoyable.They are very professional, understanding, welcoming and caring. They exceeded our expectations and we highly recommend the Appleton Villa.

The best of all was the kindness of the host who welcomed us with tea and explained and recommended everything we could do in Nuwara Eliya. The room was nice and clean. Breakfast very good.

We spent two fantastic days with Dhammika and his beautiful family who made us feel so welcome. Nestled among the sprawling tea plantations on the edge of the reservoir, the villa was simple but very comfortable, with a lovely view of the rolling green hills. Throughout our stay, Dhammika was a massive help, even driving us to the foot of Adam’s Peak in his tuk tuk at 1:30am and then showing us the various waterfalls and tea factories. He was a fount of local knowledge, and the breakfasts and dinners prepared by his wife and mother-in-law were delicious! Thank you, Dhammika!

Excellent accommodation with incredibly friendly and genuine owners. Warmly welcomed from start to finish. Spacious and nice rooms, with access to a shared space. No issues with nighttime temperatures, plenty of blankets for those who get cold. They helped arrange a trip to Horton Plains and a visit to a tea plantation. Very interesting information about the area. Dinner at the accommodation is well worth having. Walking distance to the town center or a short tuk-tuk ride. Overall, it doesn't get better than this for a homestay.

Small hotel, with comfortable bed & enough blankets! The breakfast was amazing, and the hotel staff was also really kind. The furnitures are old, but it wasn't an issue for us. We got towels and we could have a hot shower after our long day. Enjoyed our stay, thanks!

We loved our stay here. The family that run the place made us feel right at home. They served us breakfast and dinner in their dining room. They were very sweet to our little kids and we had a great stay. They were also able to accommodate my husbands many food intolerances. There is a shared area outside the room with a fridge, table and tea and coffee making facilities that was handy.

In a central area of Adams Peak, Vegetable Garden House features sea views from the patio. The property has mountain and lake views, and is less than 1 km from Adam's Peak.

The place is off the main road closer surrounded by nature and the family is so nice. They prepared a lovely dinner that we shared with other guests and also cooked breakfast for us. They were very accommodating with times as well as we took quite a while to get back from Adam's Peak. Really nice and cozy stay :)

Friendly courteous hosts. Looks into your every needs. Dinner are served very closely to how the hotel serves you. can have it at the big dining table or on the balcony overlooking the mountains and tea estate. The location is away from Hatton town which is noisy. There is soft music in living room in the evening.
