Beautiful guesthouse, luxurious feel, comfortable and spotless. And if that wasn’t enough 😁 The family makes you feel like a friend right away. No language barriers, even their sweet 3year-old son speaks English. I chose the Sri Lankan breakfast and every morning a sumptuous table of delicious food and fruits was set up for me. The location is a short 5min stroll to the most beautiful beaches along the west coast. Highly recommend this special place if you visit Bentota.

Jaya is very friendly and a great cook, we ate dinner there twice and loved the food. Great location that is tucked away from the main road and is a short walk to the beach. Highly recommend!

At the bed and breakfast, each unit is fitted with bed linen and towels. The room was lovely with a private balcony where you could sit and a shared balcony where meals were served. The room was spotless and beautifully fitted -- a comfy bed and a super shower. Ruchira, the host, was so friendly and helpful- she took me on her bike to the beach which is gorgeous, offered to buy me a train ticket as I wanted to return by train, and helped me with a visit to Lunuganga Gardens. She also arranged a river safari for me with Harinder (Harin) who was an absolutely fantastic guide-- he spotted so many animals and birds and took me for one of the best river safaris I've ever been on. I highly recommend doing the river safari with him. Breakfast was excellent. I also ordered dinner there one night and the food was fabulous- made by Osaka, Ruchira's sister. Location was quiet, very pretty with lots of scope for nice walks, including to the Bentota Temple on the river. You could see the river in the distance but cant easily walk along the river. The beach is a short tuk tuk ride away and so are a number of restaurants. Its very easy and affordable to order a tuk tuk. Overall this was such an amazing stay-- I very much recommend it. The reviews that Ruchira has got are amazing -- but she more than deserves these wonderful reviews. I hope to be back again soon!
