The place is quite nice, in nature, with no noise. The owner and the staff are really amazing. They took care of everything smoothly. They provided an awesome, sumptuous breakfast. It is a quiet, old residence, and the rooms are big and clean. Everything turned out amazing.

What an amazing hidden gem and perfect place to spend our honeymoon. We had the most wonderful 5 nights at Villa Alba. Our room was stunning and had the most beautiful views. The staff were extremely attentive and accommodating and made us feel incredibly welcome from the moment we arrived and throughout our whole stay - they really couldn’t do enough for us and were always so happy and polite. The menu and food at the hotel was outstanding and always so beautifully presented. We particularly loved the pool area, comfortable sun loungers and views over the beautiful gardens and rice fields. The hotel very kindly organised a safari for us at Udawalawe National Park - this is a must when staying in Sri Lanka. A day we will remember forever. Location is peaceful and only 10 minutes from the beach. Very easy to get to by tuk tuk which the hotel very kindly organised for us during our stay. We really can’t fault anything about this hotel. We really hope to return in the future will be recommending it to all of our friends. If you are considering booking Villa Alba please don’t think twice, you won’t regret it! Thank you to all of the staff at Villa Alba for your amazing hospitality and for making our first trip to Sri Lanka and honeymoon so memorable.

Absolutely heart warming place to stay! Unbeliveably warm and welcoming staff, comfortable beds with mozzie nets, clean and pretty luxorious bathroom, calm and relaxing outdoor patio. Location close to all happening and beach but still quiet enough to just relax and get your holiday mood going. Many many thanks to the manager lady and all the staff on the premises for giving us the best possible welcome to sri lanka and giving us so much more that just good tips about restaurants and other things around. The room was very clean and comfortable so we felt it like home from the first time. Hosts were very friendly and kind and they did their best for us, especially their daughter who speaks very good English and she helped us even with the informations we needed about our transportation. We have to mention also that they made for us a special breakfast from Sri Lanka that we wanted to try. We highly recommend this hotel for vacations!

The place is simply fantastic - it looks better than in the photos! Everything is perfect - clean swimming pool, large garden... However, what we appreciate most are the hosts - they are very nice and always willing to help!
