The property is well located - close to Lion’s Rock and some restaurants and facilities in town. The property itself is very charming, clean and spacious. The host, Suman, went well above and beyond in making our stay as comfortable as possible. He drove us to town, provided a homemade breakfast and tended to the smallest requests. I would not hesitate in recommending this property to anyone coming to Sigiriya.

It’s an ideal base for exploring Sigiriya Rock and Pidurangala, and you can easily rent a bike to get around. The hotel is set in the jungle, with charming independent houses that are very comfortable. Everything was spotless—pristine clean bedspreads, soft white towels, hot water, air conditioning, and satellite TV made my stay even more enjoyable. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, always going out of their way to ensure a great experience. The food was delicious and beautifully prepared, with a choice of continental, Sri Lankan, or English breakfast, as well as excellent lunch and dinner options. What makes this place even more special is that they only opened in December last year, and the owner is committed to giving young people opportunities for good jobs and a better future. I truly admire this initiative and wish them all the success. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a unique and comfortable stay in nature!

Situated in Sigiriya, 1.6 km from Sigiriya Rock and 3.7 km from Pidurangala Rock, Sashini Homestay offers a garden and air conditioning. This property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi. The Forgotten Temple Kaludiya Pokuna is 13 km away and Habarana Lake is 14 km from the bed and breakfast. The accommodation is owned by a very nice family, the rooms are very clean, the food is excellent, we felt like home here and we highly recommend it. Very good location ,close to Lion Rock, on the main street surrouded by some restaurans and few small stores. The host has his own tuk-tuk and can help with transport to Pidurangala or around the area.I strongly recomand this homestay and wish to come back here.

At the guest house, units come with bed linen and towels. We lived 2 days in paradise. Harsha the host is very kinds and always helpful. His wife cooked Sri Lankan foods are very delicious. We joined her cooking class. They using most of spices and vegetables they own farm and garden. They planted many fruits ( mango , banana, guava, etc..). It’s a shame we have to leave this paradise. Definitely we will come back next year.

From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the lovely sisters and their adorable kids. They treated us to a refreshing fresh juice made from fruits right from their garden, which was such a thoughtful touch. The cottage itself was super clean and comfortable, providing a perfect space to relax. We had a great night's sleep, and the breakfast served was absolutely delicious! There are several restaurants, with just a short 10-minute walk away. We had the pleasure of dining at the brother’s restaurant, “Downtown,” where the food was fantastic and service was exceptional. The kindness and hospitality of the family truly made our experience unforgettable. I wish them all the success with their new business—they have so much to be proud of! If you're looking for a charming place to stay, I highly recommend Sigiri Enaya Cottage. You won’t be disappointed!

We had 2 rooms and they were very comfortable. The people were incredibly kind. They did everything they could to make our stay the best. You only had to ask and they would help. They know all about the local attractions so don’t hesitate to ask. Breakfast and dinner was just perfect for us. Super tasty local food. Really enjoyed staying here and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for somewhere quiet but convenient.
