The most fantastic place I’ve ever stayed in my life. The family are incredibly welcoming and friendly. I arrived late and they collected me from Ella train station. I was welcomed with a delicious home cooked meal that was absolutely superb. The room is very clean and the bed is very comfortable. From the balcony you can look across to little Adam’s peak and see the beautiful river running down through the garden. I’m writing this whilst drinking a coffee on the balcony after doing my best to finish the huge delicious breakfast prepared for me. The food is the best I’ve tasted in Sri Lanka. I only planned to stay 1 night but I have already extended to 4 nights 10/10 the best place in the world I have ever stayed👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

The room was exactly as pictured and was the best place we stayed out of the 7 days we were in Sri Lanka. The owner went out of his way to take us around Ella and also drove us to the airport. Breakfast was delicious! Beds were very comfortable!

The owners Saman and Sandive were very welcoming. They made sure that everything in the room was ready before our arrival. Both are extremely friendly and helpful. The room was just amazing, spotless clean, you can definitely sense the attention to every detail. The location is great, quiet and peaceful, surrounded by trees all around. The view is spectacular, you can see the waterfall and hear the sound of running water from distance when lying in your bed, just a wonderful scene to wake up to. Saman prepared a delicious breakfast and delivered it to the room by herself just to make sure that we do not need anything else. This was by far one of the best places we have been to in Ella. We would definitely book that place again on every trip back to Ella. We highly recommend this place.

Her behavior was absolutely exceptional, and she spoke English very well, which made everything so easy. It truly felt like a privilege to stay with her. One of the rare people who made us feel completely safe and cared for, without any pressure or intention to make money off us!!She always recommended the best options for our trips, ensuring we had the best experience. The food was delicious— Begum is an excellent cook, and I highly recommend trying her meals! The room was clean, with a comfortable bed. Our private shower was just across our room. Thank you so much for your kindness and outstanding hospitality.

The rooms are self made out of wood, the beds are very comfortable, the view is amazing, bathroom is good, and best of all: the host is very sweet! He was always waiting for us to come home and made delicious breakfast in the morning.
