But the best thing was the attitude of Thilak (who clearly is the boss), his son, and his entire staff. They arranged transport from our previous accommodation and to our next accommodation. They also took us to safari with their own jeep. As for food - the breakfast, as well as dinner, was delicious. The dinner is a rice&curry buffet with spicy and non-spicy options. For lunch, there are several soups and sandwiches available. We were traveling with a picky 4yo, so this was a lifesaver.

Janith also helped me to go to the ATM and showed me the good places to have dinner. I also would recommend going to do the safari with the owner because he is very passionate about it! There enough restaurants walking distance, I also ended up walking to the water reservoir and it was a nice walk.

The guest house features family rooms. What a perfect glamping experience! The tents are built in a very natural but luxury way and we loved our stay there and would go back again… for sure! The camp is located perfectly to make a safari in the close by udawalawe national park though you can also see lots of animals sitting on the terasse in front of the tent! Erange, the owner is very helpful in organizing trips for you… not to forget to mention the exceptionally delicious food, cooked by Eranges wife! The perfect place for a calm and relaxing stay!!!
