We had a truly lovely stay! The room was cozy, the food was delicious, and the pool was exactly what we needed to relax. But the highlight was definitely our amazing host – so kind, helpful and always smiling. He really made us feel at home, and went above and beyond with every little request. We’ll always remember his warm energy – thank you so much! Highly recommended to anyone looking for a welcoming and comfortable place to stay.

Jami Hotel was the highlight of our trip! Not only was our stay extremely comfortable, but the owner really took care of us. We saw animals from the restaurant, including a monitor lizard, crocodile, king fisher, parrots, etc. The best part was the safari they organized for us. We saw 3 leopards and a sloth bear during our full day safari. They even prepared our breakfast and lunch with plenty of water. We had prebooked with a different safari company the day before and were a bit disappointed with the first trip. With Jami, we really couldn't ask for a better driver or a better host. They made our stay so special.

Weniger als 21 km von Situlpawwa und 22 km von Tissa Wewa entfernt in Kataragama gelegen, bietet die Unterkunft Mailagama Cinnamon Residence Übernachtungsmöglichkeiten mit einem Garten, kostenloses... alles :) wunderschöne Gegend, grosse und komfortable Zimmer und sehr bequeme Betten. Atemberaubende Aussicht auf die Reis-Felder und Zimt-Plantage. Wir wurden durch den Zimt Herstellungsprozess und den tollen Spice Garden geführt. Das Nachtessen sowie Frühstück war sehr lecker. Das Personal war ebenfalls sehr herzlich und nahm sich Zeit für alles. Wir empfehlen die Unterkunft wärmstens!

Die in Yala gelegene Unterkunft Nil Sisila Beach Resort Yala verfügt über einen Garten, einen eigenen Strandbereich sowie eine Gemeinschaftslounge. Beautiful, quiet place away from other accommodations. You can walk from the garden to the ocean, which is clean and the view is amazing. The lovely owner and his family prepared a perfect dinner for us. One of the best accommodations we have ever stayed at!

Host is very kind and welcoming. She gave us tea on arrival and bananas from her own garden which tasted amazing. Immaculatley clean room and bathroom. Room is very big and spacious Also had drying racks which was very handy, also had drying racks which was very handy. Very good air conditioning in room. Organised our safari ar Yala National Park before arrival. Great value for money. Would highy recommend.

By far the best homestay we have stayed in for the past 2 weeks traveling in Sri Lanka. Spotlessly clean, very comfortable, AC rooms and the hospitality of Priya makes it the best! He helped us arrange the safari in Yala, took us bird and crocodile watching in the evening 😊 and picked us up and dropped us at the bus station. Can’t wait to be back, thanks Priya!

We had an incredible time at the lake face cabana. One of our highlights in Sri Lanka. We stayed at a cabin for 2 nights so we can do an early morning Safari at Yala National Park. The location is like a hidden Oasis. It’s in the middle of nature, overlooking a beautiful lake full of charm and wild (harmless) animals. What’s most amazing are the owners family of this hotel. Hard working parents with two young daughters who from the moment we stepped in made us feel like we are visiting family. Very friendly, with very impressive story of resilience and hard work to get to where they are today. The food was so delicious, cooked with love by the owner. We had dream breakfasts, tea and fruit platters, all sorts of juices and of course delicious rice and curry (the best we had in Sri Lanka) For the Safari we booked through the company which was recommended through this hotel, and we were picked up at 4:30 for a 30-40 minutes drive to the national park. The owner also offered for us a free tour in the nearby area to see the fruit bats which are very impressive to watch. You can also watch all sorts of birds and wild life while sitting in the balcony of the Cabana which was magical. We didn’t want to leave in the last day, and saying goodbye to the family was the hardest as it felt we were saying goodbye to family. Certainly the best part of our Sri Lanka trip. And we will definitely go back again.
