Our stay at the desert camp in Merzouga was an unforgettable adventure, but not without a few bumps along the way. The setting is undeniably stunning, with the towering dunes of the Sahara surrounding the camp, making for an incredible atmosphere. The camel ride to the camp was an exciting experience, but a bit uncomfortable, and I wish the camels had been better prepared for the ride. While the tents were clean and functional, they didn’t quite match the level of luxury we had hoped for, considering the price. The camp itself was a little more basic than advertised, but the staff more than made up for it with their warm, welcoming attitude and great food. The highlight was the night under the stars, which was absolutely magical. I would recommend this camp for anyone seeking a real desert experience, but it could benefit from a bit more attention to comfort and organization.

The hotel has a great ambience. You can watch the dunes, the stars or the moon from the top terrace. The staff is amazing. They were very helpful. They helped me arrange excursions without pressure to book through them. I stayed the first night and then decided to extend for the remaining 10 days. I highly recommend this hotel.

Einfaches, aber sehr gemütliches und nett eingerichtetes Zimmer. Gastgeber ist sehr herzlich und das Essen war sehr gut. Die Umgebung und insbesondere der nahe See ist sehr schön und lohnt einen Ausflug.

I can definitely recommend this desert camp which is, I guess, a midrange option in Erg Chebbi but with an excellent value for money. We stayed two nights which i wholeheartedly recommend if you have time. The staff are awesome and friendly, the meals are very tasty, the bathroom is clean and always available, sandboarding is available for free. We rode camels on the way there and took a 4X4 on the way back and an took an interesting 3 hour tour to the nomad village and other interesting local sights. There are even lots of animals from cats to goats which makes it super interesting for children.

Hervorzuheben ist neben einem tollen Dinner, das ausgiebige Frühstück und die herzliche Aufnahme. Auf jeden Fall einen Besuch wert!
