Bed was comfy, duvet was big, bath big enough for 2 people with working boubbles. Breakfast was fresh, some prepped salads.

Hotel is in a convenient location - bus stops all round to travel to other areas and beaches super easy. The main square is a walkable distance and super easy to follow. The main hotel room itself is perfect for a holiday. Bathrooms are lovely and rooms have aircon and enough room. Staff were super friendly and helpful with everything we needed- even about car hire.

Massimo was a fantastic host – I celebrated my birthday here, and he went above and beyond to make sure it was truly memorable. From the moment I arrived, I felt completely at home. The location is perfect: very close to everything you might want to visit, yet tucked away enough to be peaceful and serene. If what you’re seeking is relaxation and a sense of calm, this is the right place. I couldn’t have wished for a better experience!

It was very clean, the host Antonio was very helpful and hospitable. The breakfast was great and we even did a barbecue which is nice. Antonio really do his best to help us with our request, it was a pleasant stay and highly recommended for everyone if you want to visit gozo. The location was also not far from the capital and Ramla bay.

James is a superb host. His communication prior to arrival, his friendly, welcoming greeting upon arrival and his attentive thoughtfulness during our stay were all outstanding. The boutique nature of Sunrise Lodge (only ten rooms in total) provided a more personal experience for us and this, we believe, is the best place to stay in all of Malta - not just on Gozo - but the entire country. Sure, there are places that cost USD$1000+ per night that would also be great, but Sunrise Lodge represents unsurpassed value for money. It is only a ten minute walk, all downhill, to the ferry terminal that connects Gozo to the island of Malta. Ferry trips are also fairly short and inexpensive. We would choose to stay on Gozo for the duration of our stay next time, using this delightful island as our base. We must also give a big shout out to Joe, Sunrise Lodge's Welsh chef. Joe is a character, and he and James are a great team. They make a great breakfast! For first-time visitors to Malta, seriously consider Sunrise Lodge as your place to stay. You will, like us, be delighted with your decision.

It was a thoughtful touch that we really appreciated. Once settled, our stay was smooth and comfortable. The room was clean and quiet, and the breakfast we received each morning was fresh, varied, and a great start to the day. Mistakes happen, but great customer service is what sets a hotel apart — and in this case, the team really went above and beyond to ensure we still had a positive experience. We’d gladly return and recommend this hotel to others looking for attentive service and a welcoming atmosphere.

The air-conditioned accommodation is 4.2 km from Cittadella. Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with a sun terrace. Beautiful open spaces, swimming pool and terrace. All details are very well studied and you can leave a very peaceful and elegant atmosphere. Breakfast it’s very nice and fresh and we have also experienced a good pizza cooked in a wooden external oven. Owners are very kind and available to support your needs.
