The owners were very helpful and did everything to make us feel comfortable. They gave great tips about things to do and where to eat and organised our taxi ride for the next morning. They even organised an early breakfast for us. Also, the complimentary bikes made it very easy to navigate the city. We would definitely stay there again.

Each unit is fitted with air conditioning, a private bathroom and a well-fitted kitchen including a dishwasher, microwave, fridge and a stovetop. A patio with an outdoor dining area and quiet street views is offered in every unit. At the guest house, units come with bed linen and towels. We had initially booked for 2 nights but ended up staying 2 extra nights because it was so nice. The vibe was lovely, the hosts were every kind and helpful. It was clean and had both a new looking ceiling fan and A/C that worked perfectly. The bathroom was small but very clean. The shower had hot water. There was also a kitchen that looked well equipped but we didn't use it. The location was good, only a 15 min walk from the ADO bus station and 30 mins to the town. You can also rent bicycles so it's faster! I would definitely recommend staying here 🙂

There is a sun terrace and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking. Rachel is a super host, very helpful and enthusiastic about making sure we knew all there was to do in the area. Rented bikes the very first day and got to see lots. Breakfast was great room cleaned daily, helped organise laundry and book a taxi to the airport. Highly recommend this stay.

Getting up in the morning for kayaking in the sunrise was amazing.

Set in Bacalar, Casa Mexico Lindo - Boutique Hostel provides accommodation with seating area. Private parking is available on site at this recently renovated property. The accommodation offers a 24-hour front desk, luggage storage space and currency exchange for guests. This was a last minute reservation for a single night. I wanted something that was peaceful and quiet. Casa Mexico Lindo exceeded all my expectations. The hosts, super couple, Debbie and Marco, were incredibly friendly and accommodating throughout my short stay. Marvelous artwork and delightful details within the hostel that embraces aspects of the local, regional and national Mexican culture. I look forward to staying here next time I visit Bacalar. 🥰

Boasting air-conditioned accommodation with a patio, 7 CIELOS BACALAR. Is situated in Bacalar. This beachfront property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi. The guest house has a private beach area. If we would be able to rate 7 Cielos at 12 out of 10, we would do it. The place is amazing, the location at the water almost too good to be true. The kitchen is convenient and very cosy, kayaks at disposal to explore the lake, which was a lot of fun. Sunbeds ans hammacks in the water finish the experience. Don't use this place as a stopover, but spend at least 2 nights here to enjoy the peace, the nature & the magic!

Loved the location, the privacy, style & attention to detail in the facilities (architecture, decor, materials.and finishes), food in the restaurant was outstanding (they even make their own bread), private beach available 24h with fun stuff available to guests (like kayaks and paddle boards). Last but not least, hospitality of the staff really made a difference (kudos to Luis and Chef David)

Large shared kitchen with everything you need and plenty of hammock and seating area around it. Santiago made us feel so welcome and was very attentive and kind (and had the best laugh ever!) Would recommend and definitely excited to come back :) Also a new restaurant just opened attached to it, and it’s a must try. It’s called Cheunic, gotta eat here for sure!
