We arrived earlier than check in time and left later than check out time and they accommodated us, no problem. The breakfast was excellent and through chatting with them we learned a lot about Guanajuato and their families. The locale is ideal… but if you walk home it will test your legs on the uphill. 😆 We used the pool and relaxed on their deck. It was all excellent.

She is friendly and smart, and provides every useful bit of information and helps you out with advice and solutions, which saves time. Again very rare to find such a great property care giver, manager, and help desk combined in one single person. Really thankful to her for ensuring a great enjoyable stay and also impressed with her sense of anticipation for guests!! All the top city attractions are close, not far and easily walkable from Casa Azul !! Also it is close to shops and a variety of eateries, and great mexican street food vendors in nearby Plaza Baratillo.

After a very warm welcome, she introduced me the main highlights of the city of Guanajuato from the stunning terrace of Casa Rofo where they also offer a delicious homade breakfast. There is nothing better then looking at the colourful city while sipping your coffee with a breathtaking view. Casa Rofo is located just a few steps from the city center. My room was spotless and extremly "cozy" Wifi was excellent at all times. They helped me ¹ arreange my taxi early morning to the airport and she stayed up with me on the door waiting for the taxi to pick me up at 4a.m. I truly had a great unforgettable stay with them There is no best option than being a stranger but feeling like you were at home. Thank you once again Omar and Jaky for making myself at home. Your pancakes were fluffy and flavourful.

This is a small charming hotel in an old but beautifully and artfully updated building on a quiet pretty street with little traffic. It is only a few hundred yards from the Cathedral and center of town. The staff is excellent and helpful, Excellent breakfast is includedl Room was large and pretty with a huge comfortable bed, nice bathroom and several small balconies looking onto the street and courtyard. SMA is a beautiful, fun, interesting artsy town with tons of shopping, galleries, restaurants, etc. We always felt safe.
