This was a perfect choice for an overnight stay before our flight home. The hosts were great, really detailed instructions on checking in and recommendations on where to eat/what to do nearby (Los de Pescado was FANTASTIC for fish) and the breakfast in the morning was delicious. Fruit, fresh cooked eggs and really good bread and salsas. The pool was lovely and our room was perfect. Didn't hear any noise from other guests and the hosts kindly let us store our bags and use the common areas after we checked out because we had a late flight. We also had some water provided in the room which was very welcome.

We have found our personal paradise in this enchanted place by the lagoon. The water is incredible. It actually has several shades from turquoise to dark blue and is crystal clear. Right by the water in the shade under the trees, it is a wonderful place to relax even when the temperatures in Bacalar are hot. The area around the huts is completely unspoiled and far away from the noise of the road. If you're traveling by bus like we were, it's a 20-minute cab ride from Bacalar (there's no Uber). Ernesto and Camilla were excellent hosts. As we had no car Ernesto and family drove us all the way into Bacalar for supplies on more than one occasion... We enjoyed the (covered) outdoor shared kitchen immensely. We had all the necessary kitchen supplies to make lunches and dinners plus it was a great way to meet the other guests staying in the huts next to ours. And lastly there are 2 excellent kayaks to use on the lagoon...

The staff: Louis was super friendly and helpful. The person in charge of the breakfast was so nice ! The vibe: the hôtel is gorgeous, its aesthetic is unmatched. Also We could relax, and walk to the beach. The center of Holbox can be reached walking by the beach or you can ask for a taxi. You can also get yoga classes.

The Mermaid and The Pearl Boutique Hotel is a recently renovated bed and breakfast in Isla Mujeres, where guests can make the most of its rooftop pool, free WiFi, free bikes and terrace.

We loved our stay at the Mermaid and the Pearl, the hosts were amazing and helped with anything we could need during our stay. They even offered us transport to and from the ferry. There is also a great laundry service for a small charge and two bikes to use for free which was really nice for a little bike tour to the south of the island. The room and the common areas were super clean and had a nice and cozy atmosphere - so it’s nice to spend a little time on the rooftop (there is a pool as well!) or sit down on the terrace or in the living room for a game of cards or chat with fellow guests. The location was also very convenient, within max. 5 minute walking distance to everything on the north side of the island but not loud during the night. Will definitely stay here again if we come back to the island :)

I stayed at this property for only two nights. Andrea was very helpful and kind , I felt truly safe. Casa Alkimia is a great place to stay, the room was really comfortable, especially the bed. The furniture is brand new and super stylish! The building is perfectly located to enjoy both nature ( a few steps from Playa Norte) and nightlife. Plus, I've slept like a baby, it's definitely quiet during the night!

This was our favorite stay during our whole Mexico trip! The place is beautifully decorated, very clean and with all the amenities you could possibly need. The owners are kind and lovely people, always happy to help. They have so much attention to detail to make sure you make the best out of your stay and your trip. Oh, and the breakfast was very yummy! You also have bikes for free on site, which you can use to ride to the lake or the city center, both just 10 minutes away.

Facing the beachfront in Bacalar, Agave-Blue has a garden. There is a terrace and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking.

Armando is very warm and kind host. my room was next to the lagoon, perfect place to see the sunrises. There is a beautiful area to chill on the shore of the lagoon. the hotel is 5k away from Bacalar town, so one needs either rental car or taxi to get to city center.

Located less than 1 km from Playa Holbox, EncantaLuna offers air-conditioned accommodation with a patio. There is a private entrance at the guest house for the convenience of those who stay.

Really nice place they have also nice little garden. The room was very clean and so nice to chill there. It is not far from centre, easy to walk. I enjoyed staying there.

Amazing little affordable quiet place. All you need is there. It makes you want to stay there forever. The place is not that easy to reach by public transportation, renting a car is best but there are taxis near by in case needed. It feels like a bed and breakfast kind of place. You have everything you need in your room and the common areas. Restaurants, a little grocery store and a little cenote are walking distance. It was just amazing.
