It is a separate suite in the yard of the local house, so you have all the possible privacy and a great opportunity to immerse into culture and chat with the family if you speak Spanish. Unfortunately, I don't and had to use Google Translate :) Even with this the couple that owns the place were doing their best to accommodate my curiosity and attempts to communicate. We were welcomed with some iced lemonade and in hot humid weather it was like a blessing! Breakfast was veeeery delicious and had traditional cuisine notes. The building is a beautifully renovated older building with a pool at the back. Breakfast every morning was delicious. We were within walking distance of the main square, 60th which had lots of shops, many restaurants and Paseo de Montejo. A great location just off the beaten track. Note, the doorbell is high on the left side of the door frame.
