The units at the guest house come with a seating area. Wilmari and her team created a very comfortable home next to the fish river canyon. The dinner is very delicious and they were really big portions, perfect for hungry wanderers, a little too much for people who had lunch 😉 if you don’t eat meat, I’d recommend to tell a view days before. The room was very clean and also had everything. Can highly recommend namgate guesthouse 🫶

We loved everything about this property. The room was very comfortable, lovely bedding, kitchen was well equipped and the with the Braai room next door making a meal was very convenient and easy. Caroline was an amazing host, making restaurant reservations for us and arranging to have our laundry done at a very reasonable price. The rocking chars on the Verandah to enjoy the beautiful view were the icing on the cake!

Our room was at the back, nice and quiet and private with a great seaview. It was a large open plan flat that was spacious and comfortable, modern and clean. The place is on Shark Island which is nice and safe and private with awesome sea views. Lovely breakfast with a great view. There was a security guard at night watching our car which was great as we drove a 4x4 and had stuff on the roof rack. We loved the place and will be back!

We loved everything about this place: beautiful quiet location with fantastic views. Cosy, nicely decorated and spotlessly clean chalets. Fantastic food in a great variety, and exceptionally helpful and friendly staff. The private reserve is perfect for hiking and wildlife spotting. We wish to return one day.
