Welcome to Hostal Hansi – Your Cozy Escape in Bocas del Toro! 📍 Located just 50 meters from the docks and a 17-minute walk to El Istmito Beach, Hostal Hansi offers the perfect base to explore the... Hostal Hansi is very well situated in Bocas' center, 30 m to water taxis, a lot of restaurants and supermarkets around, 100 m to buses to the beaches. Very practical. There's a new owner since 8 months who strives to improve all the equipments. I had a double deluxe room, good size with new ventilator on the ceiling and air condition, a small terrace with table and 2 chairs, some coat hangers, nightstand. The large double bed is comfortable, also the pillows. The bathroom has a good size with hot shower and shelves. The common kitchen has 2 sinks and 2 gas stoves, so we can be cooking all together at the same time. The fridge is very clean. There is inside a place with a number corresponding to your room. There are 2 tables and chairs near the reception and some tables and chairs outside on a large terrace facing the street. Good vibe. All tourists and owner very friendly. My favourite beach on Bocas del Toro: Bluff beach. To go to Boquete I recommend the trip boat and shuttle via Chiriqui grande better than Almirante. Buy the ticket at Pana Bocas officina next to the police station 50 m from Hansi.

Die Unterkunft Carmen's place, die in Bastimentos gelegen ist, bietet Gartenblick sowie ein Restaurant, eine Gemeinschaftslounge, eine Bar, einen Garten und eine Terrasse. Carmen‘s place liegt direkt am Meer am Ufer einer mit Urwald bewachsenen Insel. So kann man unmittelbar vor der Tür zahlreiche faszinierende Tiere beobachten! Das Frühstück ist sehr lecker und üppig, Carmens täglich (ausser sonntags) angebotenes selbst gekochtes Abendessen ebenfalls! I.d.R. gibt’s von Marcel frisch gefangenen Fisch dazu. Die angeregten Gespräche am international besetzten Abendessenstisch fanden wir sehr bereichernd. Carmen ist extrem hilfsbereit und gibt sehr gute Tipps für kleinere und grössere Ausflüge!

Das Mosana Reef Garden B&B begrüßt Sie in Bluff Beach, 5 km von Bocas Town und 26 km von Buena Vista entfernt. In der Unterkunft lädt eine Bar zum Verweilen ein. Great accommodation between sea and jungle, away from the city hustle. The only sound you hear are the sea waves and birds. The room was spacious and comfortable, the patio with kitchen was a huge plus, especially during rainy days. We loved that they changed our bed sheets every 2 days, which nowadays doesn't happen even in 4 or 5-star hotels. Nadia and Salvatore go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. They gave us a lot of tips for our tours and ways to explore the island. I can definitely recommend this place and would book it again!

I had chosen the accommodation with high expectations from home in Germany (cold and gray in February) and was really looking forward to it. My expectations were even exceeded: Brian's hideaway is enchanting: it is quiet, the garden and forest and rooms are lovingly and tastefully designed in every respect, the food is incredibly delicious, Brian and his team are extremely attentive, caring and kind and the rooms and all communal areas are super clean. The tolerant, loving approach of Brian and his team is not only evident in their hospitality, but also manifests itself in nature. They are reforesting the existing forest and focusing on diversity and naturalness; the renaturation will bring back animals, and they also rescue wild animals kept as pets. The fact that they are saving areas of nature and networking with neighbors brings hope and confidence and I can definitely recommend a stay at Dolphinbay Hideaway (yes, you will see dolphins :-)).
