We stayed here twice, in the beginning and end of our Perú trip. Doña Guadalupe was wonderful, she treated us like family and made us feel like at home. She makes fresh breakfast every morning and is super helpful with anything you need. We had a great time. The room was big and confortable. Everything super clean. Location is good, near to Miraflores centre and the bus station to the Lima Centre is 5 minutes away. Great place to stay!

Great place and great experience overall! The friendliest staff I have ever seen, always eager to help. They gave me some useful advice on how to get around the city, and helped me booking taxi services when I needed. Oh, and the breakfast was superb with plenty of options, especially for vegetarians! The location is also very convenient, close to many stores, restaurants, cafés, ATM, etc.

This is not called a Family hostel for nothing. After just 3 nights here we felt like family. Arriving late at night the place didn’t seem very special, just another place to rest our heads. But the family that run the place soon made it feel special. They were so warm and welcoming, and the whole setup of the place makes it feel like you’re staying as a guest in their home as they’re always around to help, or just to chat. And their 3 cats are there to keep you company too. The hostel is very well located between Barranco and Miraflores, with both in easy walking distance. There are lots of bars and restaurants nearby. The hostel is kept very clean and secure. With nice shared areas in the rooftop terrace and breakfast area. We had a double room with en-suite which was compact but functional. The bed was comfy and there was no noise. A bit more space would perhaps have been nice. We had so many good tips from our hosts about places to see, where to eat, and even where to get a good service laundry. These were a real help. If we ever come back to Barranco (and I really hope we will) this will be our first stop.
