Very clean, comfortable and well equipped bungalows. Great coffee! Walking distance to shops and restaurants and takeaways. Bring a torch for walking back at night. 2 minutes walk to the lagoon. Bikes for hire close by but Pierre and Motire are happy to help out transport wise if you need a lift somewhere or want to go further afield. They were great hosts. Their place is close to the Tiputa diving pass, where you can also watch dolphins jumping. Sunrise on the ocean side and incredible sunsets on the lagoon side. And don’t forget to look up at the stars. Incredible. I can highly recommend this place.

The hosts, Vaitia and Yvhan, were warm, helpful and supportive. They organised the transfers to Tiputa, and picked me up after the taxi boat ride. I was given a tour of the village, shown the location of the supermarkets and routes to use when hiring the bikes. This all really helped to provide a relaxed and enjoyable stay on a more remote, holiday destination. They also were well connected to the tourist sector on Rangiroa. Vaimoe Lodge Tiputa faces out to the sea, and has a lovely terrace where you can relax, breathe in the fresh air and enjoy the view of the waves breaking on the reef. It’s located away from any tourist hubs, and its set up is simple, clean, spacious and comfortable. I had the meals prepared by the hosts, which were delicious. The bike hire was very handy and fun. There is a lovely sense of community on Tiputa, and the people were friendly, kind and patient.

The host of the pension and animals were very nice and fun. We enjoyed going to watch dolphins in the evening. Having a kitchen in the room and getting bread everyday were convenient. Homemade jam and dinners were delicious! Facility is very clean.

We spent some time at tiputa lodge, which is a perfect place to relax and be away from the crowds. The quite new house is divided into the part where Henry lives and the flat, which he rents out, so one is the only guest. The apartment is beautifully furnished and is designed to perfection. We found ourselves mostly sitting outside on the terrace overlooking the lagoon. It is a nice place to snorkel and swim and I also went out on the Kajak provided. There are also deckchairs at the water. You have two bikes to explore the islands.The internet is superfast and reliant. Henry makes a great breakfast, we loved all the coconut breads, cakes and the best sweet coconut water. Also he makes very nice joghurt. At night he would pick up something from the snack for us or drive us to a small restaurant and come to pick us up to bring us back. (He did not advice to bike at night because of the dogs). We had a lovely time at Henry, we shared his passion for diving and we can recommend Tiputa lodge 100%

The host-Hinari- is exeptional! She took us in her car all around the island, showed us local " hang out" for nurse sharks, gave us tips on eating out, let us use her bikes. The bungalow is spotless clean and everything in great working condition. A big bonus - drinking water is provided. Transfers were included. A nice fridge is a plus.
