Ryan and Danny were awesome and very knowledgable hosts and the cooking staff were very talented and friendly. The hiking was unparalleled and the view from our rondavel was breath-taking. We had no reason to leave and immersed ourselves in the experience for several days of hiking, swimming and relaxing. If you enjoy hiking and aspire to hike the Central Drakensberg mountains, this is THE place to stay.

My husband and I also enjoyed visiting Chocolate Heaven which is around 10 minutes away from the property.

This property offers access to a patio, darts, free private parking and free WiFi. Guests can make use of the sun terrace or the outdoor fireplace, or enjoy views of the pool and garden. Graceland is a slice of heaven. A very well kept facility with all holiday necessities readily available. This facility has arguably the best view of Drakensberg. Mergan was a very hospitable host and was readily available to assist make our weekend stay memorable. We will certainly be visiting again.

Lorraine and Koos made us feel incredibly welcome at the very pretty Notting Hill Lodge. Conveniently located on the Midlands Meander route, we easily accessed all the goodies available on the route, always returning to our comfortable rooms every afternoon. Open fire, a cozy vibe and delicious breakfasts every day. We will definitely be back the next time we do the Midlands Meander. Thanks, Lorraine and Koos. xo

Wide ranging menu for dinner (some of the best beef we’ve had) and a beautiful garden to sit in during late afternoon
