Would have given 11/10 for both the hosts and the property, if it was possible .. .I have travelled around the world and can definitely say this was the best stay so far. Location is awesome, property is superb , service n hospitality by the owner was class apart.They were extremely helpful with all our needs n made sure to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Must stay place if u go to St Gilgen..God bless!

Plötzhof is a quirky old home full of character and very well appointed in the kitchen and bathroom without losing any of the old charm. We enjoyed exploring the area especially a trip to the Hallstatt salt mine and the lakes closer to the property. Overall, we enjoyed our stay very much

The location was superior, close by car to all lakes and places we wanted to go. Beautiful view of the Fuschlsee lake and surrounding mountains from the terrace. Shaded by trees (next to the wood). Great for kids - all kinds of bikes available for free and a playground.

hotel is situated in a villa neighbourhood, and is newly renovated and refurbished villa- every detail is so elegantly made, schick and pristine in a beautiful color palate. the rooms are spacious and the bathroom is modern and comfortable. you can have a free ride bus to the city center or make a 20 minutes walk on the river to the old town of salzburg. we had an amazing breakfast with the freshest choice of healthy food and some traditional home made austrian specialities.

The apartment we got was roomy, exceptionally clean, and equipped with everything that you would need for an enjoyable stay. It has been a while since we had the opportunity to enjoy our stay so much, and were very pleasantly surprised with the apartment we got.     Amazing apartment! Beautiful view and Faistenau is very nice village. Owner was very kind and helpful with everything :) Next house is bakery with delicious peoducts and Spar shop with everything you can need is very close. I definitely recommend.

    Wonderful village close to Wolfgangsee and Mondsee, very good for walking and hiking. Very beautiful house, in family style, the room was not big but beautiful and comfortable. Very good breakfast. The owner is very friendly and helpful, it was a pleasure. Thank you!

    The apartment was beautiful and spacious. The kitchen was equipped so you could cook a meal after a long day out exploring if you didn't feel like eating out. And the village that it's located in was very cute and had a nice bakery and brewery close by.
