There was a great breakfast every morning. I like the flowers and fruit trees on the property. The assistance of the the hosts were great. I like that the hotel is in town. I like the hot shower. I like the room and the beds.

Words don’t do justice to this very special place. It was perfection. Exquisite surroundings and decor, a comfortable bed and superb outdoor bathroom with view and delicious breakfast and dinners. But most of all, it’s Karen and Johan that have made this place a forever treasured memory for us. They are compassionate and thoughtful human beings - the kind that make this world a better place. After a long drive from Villa de Leyva, it was a pleasure to arrive at this hotel in Barichara. It was beyond our expectations. The hotel is immaculate. Very new and clean but in a traditional style. The staff are friendly. Breakfast was very good. It is a small hotel right in the centre of town. They have a private garage to park.

Everything was great! All the staff was amazing, the view is super, and lovely jacuzzi/Pool. The breakfast was freshly made and tasted good. The room was perfect. This is the place to stay in Barichara.

It's a small paradise just outside of Barichara, surrounded by luscious greenery and spectacular views. Very quiet and peaceful. A lovely terrace where you can sit and enjoy the views or a drink. There's a small pool if you feel like cooling off from the midday heat. It's a 15 minute walk to the centre of the village, but the views and the air are totally worth it. Very relaxing place

Casa Canela is a beautiful little hotel close to the center of Barichara. It is very calm and quite, especially in the night. The patio is large, including two hammocks, a pool and several chairs, sofas and tables where you can relax. The rooms are spacious and well furnished. The staff was friendly and helpful.
