Beautiful property with amazing amenities. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything you might need for cooking. Also, tea and coffee provided by the host. A lovely place to stay in San Jose! Very close to the beach. both the room and the bathroom were clean and comfortable, and it had air conditioning. The breakfast is delicious, the best we had during our 2-weeks travel around Costa Rica! We haven’t dined in the restaurant there but the bar in the garden is great! Especially that there is not really where to go around town after dark (which is a big advantage as Puerto Carrillo is calm and peaceful) :) And last but not least, very kind and helpful staff!

The hosts were really lovely and let us leave our luggage on the last day so we could spend the day at the beach. It's walking distance to the beach. They lend you back-pack beach chairs! Brilliant idea!...even if you do look like a tourist!! lol!! Teh attention to detail in the room was lovely... the kitchen appliances and utensils were really nice...even the mugs...good quality rather than the cheapest, so you felt it was a luxury stay! I was shown around everything when I arrived. It really was a wonderful stay and I highly recommend it.

This is the best example of a homestay! Cora opened her home for us, two tired parents with young children - and after travelling Costa Rica for a month, she took such good care of us and stepped in as grandmother for a moment. Her granddaughters also were so sweet and played with our sons. Cora makes the best breakfast we have ever had (!) but also made delicious dinner one night and went with us to the beach one day. The house is beautiful and the garden as well. Highly recommended!

The host (Arnaud) is a great person and his team is very attentive! We felt immediately at home in this charming and cosy place. Our Bungalow in the middle of the forest had everything we needed and more. It was the biggest and most comfy bed we've slept in during our time in Costa Rica. Everything was clean and worked well. The breakfast was delicious. We loved the pool, in the middle of a huge garden. It was a charming stay and we would have loved to stay longer!

The host was super nice, welcoming and very helpful. The apartment we got was super clean, well equipped and cosy. It is just a short walk to the wonderful beach of Samara. We loved Casa Maiana that much that we already decided to come back one day!
