Our best stay in Santo Antão. Very comfortable beds, amazing rooftop with a nice chill area and well located in a quiet neighbourhood but close to very nice restaurants. The host Guillaume was very helpful giving us many useful information about hiking options including well prepared handouts. The rest of the Casa d'Mar team was also super friendly. We felt at home. Not to forget: they serve an amazing breakfast with the best banana bread ever!

Everything was absolutely perfect, this is the best place I’ve stayed in in Cape Verde and I’ve visited plenty of islands! From the kindest, 24/7 available staff, to the magical location, the great quality of everything in the apartment, view, wide space, nice breakfast, available extras, excellent cleaning, flexible check in and out, everything! Fantastic guesthouse in Coculí. The staff were very kind and cooked up really delicious meals during my stay. The 6-bed dorm room was perhaps a little small for that number of people, but as I was the only person staying in it at the time, not a problem for me. All the facilities were clean and tidy!

We arrived at the hotel in the afternoon, straight from our hike which started at the Cova crater - Vale do Paul. The location was very convenient for our travel plan. There is a grocery store right next to the hotel, and a restaurant opposite to it. The hotel is very well maintained, there is a nice pool in the garden and breakfast is also served there (it was a very good one!). The room was clean, air-conditioned, with comfy beds. We spent 2 nights there and could not enjoy the second breakfast but the host was very kind and gave us some bananas for our next hike (Cruzihna - Ponta do Sol). He also arranged a taxi for us upon departure, overall he was very attentive and welcoming.
