Our stay in the mango guest house was excellent. All, owners and staff are so helpful and nice.Very kind people. They helped us with excursions and boat trips in good prices It is located on the Elephantine island. It just takes some minutes to get there from Aswan by the ferry. It was also very clean. I highly recommend it!!

: Very close to public ferries to Aswan. Rooms were functional, on the livelier side of Elephantine islands. Great views on the balcony for breakfast. Most importantly, staff were amazing, helpful and welcoming. They provided advice on how to get to main sites in Aswan, helped us secure good prices and booked day trip to Abu Simbel. Highly recommend this place and will definitely return! Thank you again for making our stay on Elephantine very nice and memorable , I was truly overwhelmed by the warmth and hospitality at this place. Ahmed the owner, along with his staff went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable. They arranged a car from the airport, and the driver was in touch with me well in advance of my arrival. Despite my late arrival, Ahmed prepared a delicious homemade dinner at a very reasonable price. She also organized a felucca ride on short notice, again at a fair rate. During our conversations, I shared some stories about my family who couldn’t join me on the trip. In a beautiful and thoughtful gesture, Ahmed gave a small gift for my wife and kids — a touching example of Nubian hospitality and culture that really stayed with me. On my first day, her son kindly accompanied me on the ferry to help me get familiar with the area — another thoughtful gesture I really appreciated. Every request I had was taken care of promptly and with genuine care. Do note that the place is located on an island, so you'll need to take a ferry to get in and out. The service is frequent, but it’s something to be aware of when planning. Overall, an exceptional stay with an incredibly kind and generous host family. : They arrange for me all tours around Aswan and Luxor with very reasonable prices I will come back sure

Beautiful house on Elefantine Island. Everything brand new and of good quality. Host Abu picked us up on arrival, organised a free sunset tour (just tip the guide at the end). We also booked transportation to Abu Simbel and Luxor at a very reasonable price through Abu, in very comfortable cars. We were able to use the washing machine for free, there is an equipped kitchen to use. Food is very tasty. Beautiful rooftop restaurant.

Mohammed and his family were amazing in every aspect of the stay. They were always avaliable if we needed anything and were very flexible. He was also great at helping us arrange trips for a great price. The location was great with an amazing view pf the Nile and the Aswan bank, getting top and from the city is easy. I particularly reccommend eating dinner at least once on the terrace which Mohammed and his family will easily prepare for you, the food was great.

We had the most wonderful stay at Airkela! The rooms are clean and nicely decorated in Nubian style. You stay on Elephantine island, away from the busy city but so easy to cross. The staff was so helpful and nice. Special thanks to Abdullah for his hospitality and helping us to get around! They offer local tours and can arrange everything you ask for. Would highly recommend!

Incredibly welcoming host, brand new and clean room (the photos are accurate), which is a treat when coming from other places in Aswan. For the rest we were pleasantly surprised by the view from the terrace, the very local area with animals everywhere. The island in itself is a very restful place to stay, with no cars, city noises or smells. And of course the breakfast since the place was originally a restaurant.

Everything was absolutely perfect! You really need to visit and meet Ahmed and his wonderful family. First off, the food is amazing, and the prices are very fair. Absolutely everything. The stay was properly magical. The room is big and clean with private bathroom. The terrasse is very charming and on the Nile river, with in the desert view on the other side and a few minutes by boat to the botanic garden. Ahmed is the kindest host I’ve had. He helped me a lot with my visits in Aswan but also with the organisation of my trips to Luxor and Abu Simbel. He is very well connected with the Aswan community and I could organize my visits directly with him which made it so easy to enjoy the time in Aswan. A big plus, at the hostel, there are canoe available from the terrasse to enjoy solo trips in the Nile. Very cool.

We were very satisfied with the accommodation. The room we had was built very pragmatic and space saving, but very neat and clean. And the owner is very sympathetic person. Especially was the breakfast for me: simple but delicious. Next to it is a cool and cozy restaurant with local dishes from the oven (very tasty:) and freshly squeezed juices. There we have not only eaten, but also pretty hard chilled with shisha ;-). The ferry is right next to the restaurant, so you are very quickly in the city. And of course don't forget to visit the ruins of the Abu Temple :-).
