Everything was just great, the food, the staff, the rooms,…!!! The cows were so cute and you’re always allowed to cuddle them. Our stay there was just perfect and the location around myvatn is fantastic!

Very lovely place to stay at! Everything was spotless (so the shared bathroom wasn‘t a problem at all). The kitchen was well equipped and really big so multiple people could cook at the same time. Unfortunately we only stayed one night, we would have definitely stayed longer if we could. Their ice cream is delicious too!

Lovely stay and the owners put an effort into conserving the heritage of Iceland as well as being sustainable. The space is very spacious and had everything we needed. We had a really lovely time!

Great place to hunt for northern lights. Cosy room, although very small. Super hot radiators, which in winter saved our life :). Although the breakfast is in the village, there was a common room opposite our building where there were tables and all necessary kitchen facilities to prepare your own meal or something hot to drink. Very well equipped. We came late at night, the reception was closed, but the room key was left for us plus directions to the room. Breakfast in the village restaurant very nice. The place is right behind the post office (google maps show you a route round the whole village, don't know why).
