Really unique guesthouse. Dagmar owner really tell u everything which u need to know before arrival with every small detail. Breakfast are included with good kitchen. Whole place is like your second home. Got really nice living room with a lot of games couch. When we visited there they got some kind of agreement with local swimming pool with thermal water, sauna, hot tubs for free which was incredible benefit !

Fantastic location, it felt remote but not isolated (we still managed to get some food delivered in the middle of some quite bad weather!). The views were spectacular and the property itself had such a comforting but modern and polished feel to it I couldn't have asked for more. Getting there was an easy drive from Keflavik airport - thankfully as we arrived in a red weather for winds and rain warning time so I was very glad for a short drive and such a good place to stay to see the storm pass over while we still got to experience seeing and feeling some of the wilds that Iceland offers! Inside everything was perfect and there were basics there so we would not have been stuck if the weather had stopped us going out for a while. Really a great property, so unique, it was one of the more expensive places we stayed at during our 11 days but we thought it was absolutely worth it for the experience. Can't recommend this place enough.

We have had nothing but very good accommodation throughout our stay in Iceland and this was one of the best. It's in the original house, very nice surroundings, perfect for a night before a plane trip and a shame we didn't have an extra day or two to explore the area. The whole apartment is very cosy and sensitively decorated and probably one of the few where there is also a large TV, great for a final relaxation.

The location is fantastic. We could walk to the ocean and it was only a 15 minute drive to the airport. The house was very clean, and although it's simple it has exactly what you need. From the outside the house looks older, but everything on the inside has been remodelled very recently. The view out the back floor to ceiling windows was exceptional. We watched the horses, watched the huge waves crash onto the shore and watched the sun slowly set. The host prepared the house for us very quickly and even provided a bed. He offered to turn the hot tub on, but we declined. For a one night stay before the airport, it was exactly what we needed.

The apartment is so tastefully designed, quiet, and comfortable. It has amazingly well equipped kitchen, separate classy & quiet bedroom, and spa like bathroom (with luxurious toiletries). All the details of the apartment show how diligent the owners are. Apartment location is super convenient, very close to the airport. Also, close to a couple of grocery stores where one can stock-up before the road trip. And petrol station and restaurants. Owners are super responsive and kind. They’ve even left some welcome goodies for us, which was well appreciated. Exceptional accommodation! Highly recommended.
