Best room so far we had in Sri Lanka. Everything was very clean and the location was great. We were sad we had to leave after one night. Room looks better live than on the pictures. Location was great, very close to the entrance for Adams Peak (5min walk). The food was also really good. Everything was prepared fresh, so be patient while waiting🙏🏽 Hosts were very helpful and friendly.

Amazing stay in everything! We chose It because It was close to the Adams peak, but It was so much more. Delicous and abundant breakfast and dinner. The host helped us with everything we needed, gave us an extra torch and great tips for the hike. Room and bathroom were super clean, with light and little balcony. One of our BEST stays and breakfast in Sri Lanka

This place has everything you need to clim Adam's peak. Room is perfectly clean, dry + HAS TRULY HOT SHOWER (that is an expection in secluded areas such as this in my experience) Guy maintaining the place is extremely friendly - show you the path to Adam's peak, borows flashlight if you need one, give you hot tea on arrival. I could go on and on. Incredible value for money.

Beautiful place in the rainforest and super close (walking distance) to Adams Peak! The family that live here are so lovely and cook amazing food too. There is also a nice river out the back where you can swim. Great place to chill for a day or two when climbing Adams peak :))

The owner was really nice - they cooked a delicious Srí Lankan dinner for us, provide us Tea and gave us lots of clothes racks so he helped us to dry our clothes. He also kindly ask us if we need a ride closer to Adam's Peak in the morning and organized a driver to Colombo airport for us. The place was really clean, with nice hot shower & big bathroom. There Is also lot of space in 'shared living room', so we could work from there. The WiFi was super fast. We also enjoyed petting their friendly doggie Rocky. Bed was really comfortable, we had a good sleep there.

Magic place where you can have a full Sri lankan experience right at the bottom of Adam's Peak! I spent two nights in a humble and comfortable room with electricity. There were clean toilets and shower just outside of my room. I got a beautiful welcome by Dilshan and his lovely family who gave me plenty of tips on what to do around and about how Sri lankans live. The first night I got the opportunity to cook with the family an outstanding and delicious rice and curry; they showed me how to prepare dahl and all the side dishes, it has been great!!! An experience I wouldn't forget ! The next day I went up to Adam's Peak for the sunrise and when I came back a Sri lankan breakfast was waiting for me. The prices are very correct and super affordable . I highly recommend it if you want to get to know more about Sri lankan culture. I will for sure come back in the future !!! NANRI Dilshan and your beautiful family 🙏

    The welcome was very friendly with a cup of tea and some biscuits... The room was also very cozy and just as on the pictures. I did not have dinner, but the breakfast was very nice and once again friendly staff. The village is close by and you can even start the hike to Adam's peak just from there.

    Located very central in de heart of the little village, close to the entrance of the Adam’s Peak trail. We were warmly greeted with some tea and sweets. The room was very simple but clean, the bathroom more or less the same and there was hot water. Breakfast was served after the hike and contained tea, egg sandwich, juice, fruit, hoppers and toast. The host showed us around a little and helped us with bus and train for the next day. It’s a good and cheap option for one night to hike Adam’s Peak in the morning.

    We Got a free room upgrade to a completely new room with comfortable bed and private Bathroom with hot shower. The location couldnt be better, we absolutely loved the village. It was our favorite village so far, we highly recommend to stay here. The room is a perfect starting point to the hard trek to Adam's Peak. Included breakfast was also delicious.

    Perfect starting point to climb to Adam's Peak. The best time to go is Dec-May to see it at its best, the rest of the year is still a good climb. The owner was great, he walked me around the village to show me the shops, places to eat, and the starting point to Adam's Peak. The breakfast provided is great. If you hike early for the sunrise, then this is perfect for when you get back. They also provide very powerful torches if needed. Helpful with local bus times too. 👍

    I had such an amazing experience at the family homestay! The people were wonderful, and the atmosphere was cozy. Although it was a bit challenging to find the guest house due to the lack of signs, it's actually located right next to the Nallathanniya Buddha Statue. If you have trouble finding it, just ask the friendly folks at Mountain Villa Adam's Peak. They serve delicious meals, and it's the perfect place to stay if you're planning to hike Adam's Peak.
