The room, the facilities, the breakfast & the staffs were all top notch. They had a free masaage chair corner surrounded with bean bags and books. You can spend a quality famiky time there. The pool was cozy, the staffs were always ready to help. This will certainly be the best hotel experience in Mirissa.

The locality is pure perfection! One minute to the beach and you can see the Coconut hill from the room. Nearby (minute by walk) is a spa centrum where you can be treated by massage. The owners were nice :) we did a yoga session with a Slovak lady who blessed our day and we are co grateful we met her, See you soon!

Overview: Ruwan Jungle Homestay is worth your money. If you're curious about the details, keep reading. Location: The homestay is not too far from the beach, with several great restaurants in the vicinity, like Jungle Soul, 101 Restaurant, and Petti Petti – all of which I recommend. Situated at the forest's edge, the area is rich in wildlife, offering sightings of peacocks, various monkeys, countless birds, and even a monitor lizard. If you enjoy being around animals, this place is for you, though be prepared for some noise. The nearby beach is also great for watching turtles in the morning. The Host: I have to mention Ruwan, the host. He was incredibly helpful, fulfilling our requests without asking for extra payment, although I felt it was right to give him something. Just let Ruwan know what you need, and he'll handle it. Additionally, the food Ruwan prepared for us was incredibly delicious. We had curry shrimp that was simply unforgettable. The Room: Our room was excellent, featuring its kitchen where we occasionally cooked seafood. The facilities, including the internet, were all in good working order. I worked remotely for two weeks, and the internet service met my needs. Just a note: as I did, you might need to ask Ruwan to upgrade the internet service for a fee if you require faster speeds. Conclusion: I wholeheartedly recommend Ruwan Jungle Homestay for anyone looking for a comfortable stay close to nature, with excellent service and unforgettable food.

Room was clean and comfortable with great location. Host was really flexible and take care for us well,he helped to plan whale watching and surfing and suggested to pick us with tuk tuk and drop us there. Breakfast was delicious at the terrace with beautiful view to the garden. Wifi connection was stable. Where was no problem with hot water. This Guest House has a kitchen where you can cook if you would like to do it. If you need there is also oportunity to do laundry for a cheap price or do laundry by yourself.

The accommodation is very clean, comfortable and has air conditioning, fridge, mosquito net, hair dryer and shampoo. It's about a 7 minute walk to the beach, same to the city on the main street. It's about half an hour to coconut tree hill. The host communicated with us via Booking and responded quickly, when we needed a ride in heavy rain to the center of the main street (around the corner basically), he took us by tuktuk free of charge. Our host recommended a company for a whale watching trip. The host lent us a spoon when we bought yoghurt at the accommodation and didn't realise we didn't have cutlery. Breakfast was big and tasty. Great value for the price, helpful host, very nice and clean accomodation. Good wifi.

Really nice accomodation in a quiet location but yet super central. Great value for the price. you need maybe 3 minutes walking to the beach. It is a clean place with everything you need. The host is very nice and helpful. Also the free drinking water is a big plus! Also there is a fridge in the room where you can store your food. The WiFi was surprisingly good with around 10mbits so I could even have teams meetings and work.

I felt in love with this Villa! Incredible breakfast (big amount and different food every day; continental brekkie). The room was perfect with Air con, very comfortable bed, nice smell shower gel and love the design of the room pink and grey! 😍 The staff who was Tharindu was great with us! Very attentive and friendly! We didn’t have power for a few hours and I called the owner and he respond my call immediately even he wasn’t in the country. Close to Coconut Tree :) 🌴 Great place to stay in Mirissa 😊

Beautiful Villa, it’s not a luxury villa, but a good villa for a family getaway, it’s well maintained to the naked eye. Great views as you can see from the pics but mind you there is no beach or access to the water. Tharanga the house manager was excellent and attentive. The land block houses 6 villas, we had friends in another villa for a bucks night and we used this villa to keep our baby, nanny, maid (safely) and us parents to sleep at night.

The villa and location are stunning. There are only 4 rooms. The staff will make you feel like their only guests. Lovely Spa Ceylon products as toiletries. Secure and private parking. Wonderful Old Ceylon furniture mixed in with more contemporary pictures and furnishings which work really well to create a stylish setting. Staff ran me a wonderful bath before bed. Breakfast was amazing. Coffee, juice, fresh fruits and authentic Old Ceylon breakfast favourites made perfectly.

Location and facilities. The swimming pool was good. The design of the villa is excellent. it is spacious and the Living room on the ground floor with a big Screened TV was a bonus. We enjoyed the thrilling T20 Cricket World Cup final match which India won. We had reason to celebrate and this place was an excellent place to be with family & friends.

The villa is decorated so beautifully and surpassed expectations, it is in a stunning location and has a very calm feeling about it. On top of this the service was exceptional. From the moment we arrived they were so attentive. One of the best experiences I have ever had staying at a hotel. They were faultless in every sense. The team led by Mr Athula was so helpful, espically as I was travelling alone with my 2 year old son.
