This place far exceeded our expectations!Upon arrival we were offered tea and welcomed with genuine warmth. The views from the terrace look out onto a forest and below that Katmandhu sprawls out into the distance. Sunsets here are gorgeous! It was peaceful, close to nature with a waterfall and many walks right outside the homestay. The family that run it are amazing. Nothing is ever a problem and they go over and above to help. The food was delicious and prepared with care. Keshab( the owner) is very observant and attentive to your needs. He tailored all of our meals to our liking, without being asked. We booked into the tree house and it was simple but comfortable and spacious. We spent the mornings doing yoga on our private deck looking into the forest and my partner was able to study at the desk in our room with all of the windows open and a gorgeous fresh breeze blowing in. It was a very welcome respite from the noisy, busy and pollutes Katmandhu. We will certainly be back! We booked for one night and just kept extending!

Small friendly little homestay. Very basic, but comfortable with a hot shower and alright wifi. Breakfast was ok, but the owner would do whatever he could to make you comfortable. it's a bit out of town with a uphill walk, with that said the hotels in town didn't look great. one massive bonus here is tou get the most amazing sunsets over the Kathmandu valleys

We stayed four days and felt warmly welcome every day. We were very surprised how clean, quiet and well organised this cosy place is. Everything is done with love: breakfast, afternoon and night tea, cleaning of rooms, providing advice for places to visite, and to go for Lunch and dinner, and books to read. What an incredibly nice stay I had! It is really a shared home and I felt like home. One of my best stays in Nepal! Shekar the owner is kind, friendly and funny. He showed me the city and the beautiful local places, it was such a nice experience! The rooftop is pretty and the common room was nice to hang out with Shekhar and the other traveler. It was quite at night and during the day because of the location but you are in the middle of the city centre!
