Comfortable room with wonderful ambiance, Warm and friendly host & hostess who were welcoming and provided history regarding Waitomo Village along with recommendations regarding local area attractions and restaurants. Lovely, continental breakfast.

Room was great. There are several smaller buildings on site that have one or more rooms in it. Pretty grounds. Breakfast was plentiful. Parking is down the hill but you can pull your vehicle up to unload/load luggage and then park as the driveway is pretty steep. Not a lot of restaurant choices in the village, but the next bigger town is only about a 15 minute drive away. Could walk to the Caves and take other hikes.

The lodge was central to the village and had absolutely fantastic views of the valley. The lodge was in walking distance to dining options and a nearby park. There was plenty of parking in the lot adjacent to the property.

Position was great. Right in the village. Short drive to the caves. Hosts were very friendly and great value for money. Comfortable.

The view was fantastic. Warm welcoming hosts. Remote location meant peace and quiet but only 15 minute drive from the village which had good choice of eateries.
