The host Ronelle was so welcoming and hospitable and went out of her way to help us with whatever we needed. She also sent us so much information ahead of time that helped us plan great activities in the area. The surroundings are so beautiful and peaceful. We loved swimming in the river, going for walks on the farm, looking at the stars, spending time on the stoep and braaing.

The host was amazing, the view incredible, as an animal lover it was so pet friendly. We got visited by so many Furkids. The host taught us so much history of the property. We will be back.

The place is spotless and within walking distance from the main road. Complimentary snacks were given which was a sweet gesture. I loved this space and will return. We had the most delish food at the on premises restaurant prepared by Chef Harm. Alfonso the bartender was a delight. This experience made me fall in love with Montagu.

Our hosts Elaine and Wikkie were super efficient, friendly and helpful. The room was very comfortable and the breakfast was delicious. The old building has been tastefully restored and decorated with period furniture which enhances the experience.
