It rained the whole day when we were there, but staying here still make it a worthwhile vacation. The bathtub and the bbq was wonderful, and the place was quite private. Bed is very comfortable too, the whole place was made up to feel luxurious. Highly recommend

Set in Binalong Bay and only 700 metres from Binalong Bay beach, DOLPHIN LOOKOUT COTTAGE - amazing views of the Bay of Fires offers accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. This holiday home provides air-conditioned accommodation with a patio. The property offers free use of bicycles and features a garden and barbecue. Our family of 4 stayed two nights at the cottage. The first thing that struck us was the beautiful view, with the balcony bathing in the beautiful sunset and a clear view of the fantastic beach below. The cottage was spacious, clean and comfortable. It was well-furnished with quality cabinetry and cooking facilities. The living room was very homely, with large comfortable sofa, dining table and cosy lighting. It was truly a great holiday home to unwind in, and I could imagine staying here to destress and meditate. Another big plus was its proximity to the beach where we had great time jumping from one red rock to another.

The tents were really comfortable, despite my reservations ahead of time (I hadn’t spent a night under canvas for 40 years). The camp fire was wonderful… we ended up with 6 couples from several different countries sitting around it and talking until very late… helped by the wine selection in the honesty bar.

All the accommodation is self-contained. We were traveling through AUS for three weeks for the first time, and the Pelican Point Sanctuary was our favorite accommodation on our trip. Honestly, it was one of the most amazing places we’ve ever stayed. The location is amazing- minutes away from St. Helens which has grocery stores, coffee shops, and restaurants, as well as The Bay of Fires and lots of stunning beaches along the way. And the accommodation itself was breathtaking. We loved walking around the grounds and taking in the stunning views. The bed was comfortable, we loved the full kitchen and black-out curtains, and appreciated the on-site amenities of the grill and laundry. Truly can’t recommend enough.
