Loved everything about our stay here, it was pure perfection. If it’s available, do not pass up the opportunity to experience it. The lodge is beautiful and so well designed and presented, with lovely homely touches, clean spacious shower room, comfortable bed and bedroom with cracking aircon, great outdoor seating area, in all just cannot fault it. Communication with Hadas/Dusty was spot on, Hadas also arranged for us to do bird watching and cooking onsite with Flora, both of which were great experiences. On arrival we were met by Willy and Stinky who are both adorable and so friendly, they spent a lot of time with us when we were there! Willy was also a great swimming buddy in the river. Facilities in the lodge were second to none and also catered for our unstated needs! Fully stocked kitchen and a bonus of running bottled water. Having the river there to both cool down in and sunbathe by was a bonus and well used with the humidity at the time we stayed. The location was perfect for us, far enough from town to be remote and only a few mins drive into civilisation. Albert, the main man on site in the day, was lovely and friendly and we had some good conversation with him. The security here is also good, with an electric entrance gate and non intrusive cameras, but Willy and Stinky were the best security, making sure you knew about any movement even remotely near the property! They also slept outside our room on a night, ready and waiting for a breakfast treat in the morning! So cute. If you’re not a dog lover though, they won’t bother you, so please don’t be put off by them being there.

Sehr saubere Unterkunft mit ausgesprochen freundlichen und hilfsbereiten Menschen! Alles wurde für uns recherchiert und gebucht. Wirklich klasse! Der Pool ist nach einem heißen Tag wirklich super. Die Lage ist etwas außerhalb von San Ignacio aber auf dem Weg nach Cahal Pech und Xunantunich, es wehte eine angenehme Brise auf dem Berg.

This property was INCREDIBLE. Beautiful views and SO much to do!! The host were amazing and friendly! They helped us set up rides/taxis between destinations. All our needs were met promptly and our stay was 11/10. We will be coming back and staying in the new villas that the hosts are building. 1000000% recommend.

Everything. Melanie, Larry and the team treated us more like family than guests. They organised all our trips and activities, at no extra cost, even after we changed our plans. The location was perfect, like an oasis in the jungle, the pool was fantastic and the room was very tastefully decorated with everything we could need.

Such a nice family and location to stay. Very good descriptions of things to do, with or without official tours.

Die Unterkunft Santa Cruz Cabins ist in Santa Elena, 4,2 km von Cahal Pech und 19 km von El Pilar entfernt gelegen und bietet Übernachtungsmöglichkeiten mit kostenlosem WLAN einer Klimaanlage und... It was by far the most perfect place we ever stayed in. The cabins are incredibly beautiful, the view is amazing and the whole place is just magical. You can get an amazing breakfast delivered to your veranda and the owners are so friendly that you feel right at home. We can just recommend everyone to stay here - we wished we could have stayed longer. Thank you for everything :)

It was so nice to have our own little villa in the rainforest. The area felt so secluded but also very clean and safe. We also had trails to a waterfall and cave towards the back of the property which was great for exploring when we didn’t feel like driving. The room was well stocked and we had everything we needed for our stay. We were really impressed by how well the screens kept the bugs out and we loved laying in the hammock in the screened in porch. It was a bit cold to swim in the pool but we liked heading there in the evenings to relax and enjoy the evening. It was also wonderful to use the grill by the pool and super easy.

Die Unterkunft Family Suite @ Mahogany Hall besticht durch klimatisierte Übernachtungsmöglichkeiten mit einer Terrasse und ist in San Ignacio gelegen. The beds were comfortable, it was very clean while taken care of, attentive staff, and the location was fabulous. Right by a river, private.

Die Unterkunft Crow's Nest Suite at Mahogany Hall -Gold Standard Certified besticht durch Flussblick und einen Balkon, ungefähr 6,6 km von Cahal Pech entfernt. Quiet location on the river. The staff was great. Food was excellent.
