A continental breakfast is available daily at the bed and breakfast. The 7 ppl apartment we stayed in was sparkling clean and very comfortable. It is a 2 level apartment located at 3rd floor, accessible by elevator. The living room, kitchen, 2 separated bathrooms with toilet and one double bedded room are at lower level whereas the upper floor consists of 2 double bedded room and one single bed next to the staircase. We were traveling by car with elderly and hence the apartment was perfect for us as we were able to unload our luggages right in front of the hotel and dropped the elderly at the same time so they do not need to walk from the carpark to the hotel (although the car park is just located next to the hotel).The kitchen was well equipped with everything we need. The hotel provided 3in1 shower gel and hair dryer as well so you just need to bring your own toothbrush and toothpaste The rooms are equipped with heater and we felt comfortable and warm in the room. The parking place was always available during our stay in end of October. Most of all, the view from the windows and balcony was very beautiful and remarkable. The breakfast was good and the croissants, yogurt, honey, jams were one of the best we have had during our 15 days trip in Europe. Although it will be even better if they can change the breakfast menu to have different varieties but we didn’t feel bored going back for same spread of food during our 3 days stay in this hotel. We had stayed in a few 4-stars hotel during our 15 days trip in Europe but we concluded that Gletscherblick is one of the best. Oh, before I forgot, there is also a laundry area at the hotel with very reasonable charges. So, do not hesitate to choose this hotel as we will definitely go back for our next trip to Grindelwald.

A recently renovated guest house in Bern and within 700 metres of Bärengraben, artroom features free bikes, comfortable allergy-free rooms and free WiFi. With garden views, this accommodation provides a balcony. Guests can access the guest house via private entrance. Excellent accommodation. Location is great, walking distance to the city center and Paul Klee Zentrum. Very nice and green area, safe, calm and silent. There is also a great public transport, but it is not far from the center to walk through amazing paths with the best views of Bern. The house is very beautiful with wonderful big garden, the host is an artist so you can see lot of art. It is quiet and relaxing. Very clean, the whole building, bathroom and room were perfectly clean, ( bathroom is modern like recently made ), el. kettel and coffee machine with coffee capsule and tee in the room, bed is comfortable, high speed internet, hot water, heating in winter. There are 3 rooms and shared bathroom, but there is complete privacy. The host is very friendly, warm welcoming, kind and helpful for tourist info. It was a wonderful experience to stay in this house, I really recommend.
