The directions provided easily got you to where you needed to go, the box was labled and was not hard to operate at all. We used the lockbox when we left the apartment to ski so we didn't all have to return as a group and no risk in losing the key.

The fact that this was our third separate stay at Gästehaus Fürlauwi tells you all you need to know. The hosts are lovely and helpful, and the apartment is spacious and comfortable and has all the amenities needed for a pleasant stay. Easy parking is available right in front of the house. The main road to Sustenpass is close by, but the house is rurally located in a cluster of just a few houses. The house across the street is a working farm. The surrounding scenery is breathtaking, and you could spend hours walking the rural road and paths right outside the front door. The first time we stayed, it was just a planned overnight break on our drive from Italy to Germany. It is a good location for that. But after seeing the place, we knew that one night there was not enough, so we planned a return trip. The first two times we stayed, our children were between 6 and 9 years old, and now they are teenagers. The space was perfect in both scenarios. This location is among my favorite vacation stays ever.

We had the most incredible time at this property — the views are simply out of this world. From sunrise over the mountains to the shimmering lake below, every moment felt magical. At night, the sky was filled with stars, creating the most peaceful and unforgettable atmosphere. The apartment itself was spotlessly clean and beautifully maintained. The kitchen was well equipped, making it easy and enjoyable to cook during our stay. Everything felt comfortable, cosy, and thoughtfully prepared. We hired a car to explore the area, which made travelling around very convenient and allowed us to fully appreciate the stunning surroundings. Overall, this place is relaxing, peaceful, and truly tranquil — the perfect escape from everyday life. We highly recommend staying here. An exceptional experience from start to finish!

Der Aufenthalt war wirklich wunderbar! Die Wohnung war sehr sauber, gut ausgestattet und gemütlich. Andrea war eine sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Gastgeberin. Trotz des Regens haben wir die Zeit hier sehr genossen. Die Lage ist ruhig und trotzdem gut erreichbar – perfekt zum Entspannen. Ich kann die Unterkunft nur weiterempfehlen und würde jederzeit gerne wiederkommen. Vielen Dank für alles, Andrea!

Die Unterkunft Haus Sonnboden besticht durch einen Balkon mit Gartenblick, einen Garten sowie einen direkten Zugang zur Skipiste und befindet sich in Andermatt, nahe Teufelsbrücke und 5,9 km von... Location is absolutely perfect, right on the edge of town close to the Gemmstock lift and near all the restaurants and shopping down the main drag. There is a free ski shuttle runs close by, there is little to no parking around town so highly suggest not renting a vehicle and just use public transit. The train station is about 3/8 of a mile down the road and even with luggage wasn’t too far away. The town is deceivingly small, it appears big on a map but the houses are tight together and hotels are the size of large houses with restaurants on the first floor. Town is super quiet at night and most shops close by 5:30pm. This house has everything you need. By US standards it lacks a clothes washer/dryer, the freezer is just larger than what you’d find in a dorm fridge and you’re not going to have ice unless you make it one baby-sized tray at a time. The beds are all twins and you’re not going to slide them together for a King size bed unless you have some better engineering skills than we had. Owner was super nice and meets you at the door when you arrive, try using WhatsApp to make local calls if needed. WiFi worked great at the house, in town it was hit or miss depending on the location. You’ll need to bring your own Swiss outlet adapters…buy on Amazon for a few bucks a piece-
