Our daughter was so sad to leave and keeps asking when we can return! 😅

The manager was super attentive since the moment we made the booking. He offered transport service to/from Beijing, although we had our own already booked. The team greeted us with a great dinner included in our price, and the breakfast was also excellent. They sorted out the tickets for us, which was super helpful. They also took us to the great wall cable car entrance, and picked us up once we had finished. Super friendly people and I definitely recommend staying! By the way, the boy on the picture with Boris Johnson is the manager nowadays, although the pic was taken in 2008. This shows just how many years of experience they’ve had greeting international clients at this amazing resort! :)

Nestled in the laid-back Gubeikou Town, the single-storey house would be a warm base to explore the wild Beijing. Absolute best place to stay if you plan to visit the great wall! There is no words to properly describe how good the experience is, everything was beyond my expectations, and even more when you consider the standart in China Rooms are big and comfy, bathroom very clean with all you need (even the mirror fit a European size!), a very nice common room with couches and a table to meet all the guests But more than that, you have a lovely host that will be there to help you and arrange everything for you, always with a smile! Everything is smooth and easy, make sure you try the dinner with everyone before leaving and don't forget to pet these cats!

They give you detergent, an umbrella, robes, toothbrush..... it's incredible. Most hotels would upcharge but no, everything is given to you! they treat you like royalty!
