The wifi is good and there is Netflix. It’s in a nice neighbourhood with a local feel to it. As such, restaurants are very reasonably priced as they are not tourist traps. Above all, the couple that runs the apartment, Sandra and Ricardo, are so caring and attentive to any need or question you might have. They are wonderful, charming hosts! I would definitely return.

L’établissement Deluxe B&B "Casa Alegria", Tarrafal se trouve à Tarrafal (Île de Santiago), à proximité de ce lieu d’intérêt : Praia Mar di Baxu. We absolutely loved our stay at Casa Alegria. The place is cosy, spotless, and thoughtfully arranged, making it feel like a real home away from home. Upon arrival, we were pleasantly surprised with a very generous welcoming package including juice, wine, beer, and water — such a kind touch that immediately set the tone for the stay. The atmosphere throughout the property is wonderful, and breakfast was truly excellent. The staff are incredibly kind, and the manager goes above and beyond to make sure every guest feels comfortable and cared for. What makes Casa Alegria even more special is that by staying here, you’re also supporting a meaningful cause that empowers women — a detail that really adds value to the whole experience. They were also very understanding and flexible with our late flight, kindly allowing us to stay longer so we could relax before heading to the airport. All in all, it was an amazing experience and I can’t recommend Casa Alegria enough!

Personnel adorable et toujours aux petits soins. Très bon petit déjeuner et les dîners sont également délicieux et tout est fait maison! Logement calme et bien situé, surtout pour profiter de Serra Malagueta ! Chambre propre et confortable. Jolie vue sur les montagnes depuis la chambre et la terrasse. Nous avons passé 3 nuits merveilleuses et recommandons fortement cet établissement. Un grand merci à Magali et à son équipe !

L’hébergement Apt. Idilfa vous accueille à Praia, à respectivement 700 mètres et 1,4 km de ces lieux d’intérêt : Praia de Gamboa et Diogo Gomes Monument. Spacious and comfortable. Strong AC. Great wifi. The washing machine was a super useful bonus that we took advantage of. And a kind and generous owner who let us stay late past checkout till late afternoon since our flight was at night. This was much appreciated!

The room was amazing but the family who owns the property made the stay even better. They are super kind and accommodating, would definitely stay with them again.

Authentic village life at its best! Tugged away from the rest of the world, Ja opened a room of her ancestor's home to guests who would like to experience what it's like to live in Cape Verdian raw country side - which includes being offline, taking cold showers with a bucket and a mug, sleeping in pin drop silence (apart from the roosters), walking in the steep hills, etc. One can go with a shared taxi until the roundabout of Sao Domingos. From there, a local can come and pick you up for 300 ESC, or you can walk (it's absolutely safe, the locals are friendly and helpful, location on the map is accurate). They can also drop you to the airport for 1500 ESC, and it just takes 30mins to reach. Ja knows how to cook for vegetarians, too. She is a witty and interesting host to talk to. I am still amazed at the purity and simplicity of this place, and hope to be back one day.

Location: The apartment is situated in a nice quiter location with a good view from the front. Cleanliness: Everything was neat and tidy, which made for a pleasant stay. Hospitality: The host was an amazing and friendly person. His warm welcome made me feel right at home. He was always available for questions and ready to help whenever I needed it. Overall: I am very satisfied with my stay in this apartment. The combination of the great location, the tidiness, and especially the host's hospitality made my experience unforgettable. I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a comfortable and welcoming stay.
