Victor and his family were so kind and welcoming. I arrived to a lovely fire and within a few minutes of arriving had a meal ready for me. Breakfast was a huge meal and prices for the lunch is really good. It was such a nice place with beautiful view, so quiet and peaceful and right next to the start of the quilotoa loop trek.

Situé à Chugchilán, l’établissement Hostal Doña Clarita Inn possède une connexion Wi-Fi gratuite et un parking privé gratuit. The incredibly warm welcome of smiles and beautiful hospitality, along with a happy dog and cat, it felt like we were stepping into a home. It was the best and calmest place with A variety of teas, boiling water, drinking water, coffee, homemade cookies and banana bread upon arrival with the fire lit for us to get all cosy after our walk along the trail. Super friendly vibes, community dinner was exceptional and the vegan option was the best I’ve had in Ecuador. The views over the valley are beautiful and clear sky’s meant for tea under the stars in the evening :)

The subway station was only about a 3-minute walk away, which was very convenient. The room was very clean and comfortable. I was surprised that there was no water in the fridge, but there was a water dispenser in the hallway that we could use. I had to leave early for the airport, and the receptionist kindly booked a taxi for me. It cost around 11 USD and was very helpful.

Située à Riobamba, à 14 km de San Andrés, la Casa de Mármol propose un salon commun et une connexion Wi-Fi gratuite. Irma, the owner, was the nicest person. We arrived at night really hungry on a day that almost no restaurants were open and she organised us a delivery for dinner and it arrived in less than 15minutes. She was also telling us very interesting stories about the Chimborazo and Riobamba. The beds were comfortable and the twin bedroom was spacious. The shower was amazing. The breakfast was prepared by her and it was one of the best breakfasts I ever had at a hostel. Really delicious and complete!
