We arrived after 10 PM, and the owner invited us into his kitchen to show how the breakfast cakes are made. His wife offered us chilled white wine and cheese—everything sourced from organic farms. The atmosphere is incredibly warm and cozy. The beds and pillows are very comfortable, and although we didn’t use it this time, there’s an outdoor pool. Free parking is available for all guests in the courtyard. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, with freshly squeezed orange juice, homemade bread, orange and lemon cakes, and a variety of organic products. I highly recommend this hotel—it’s clear the hosts truly love what they do.

The wee house was perfect for us with comfy beds and a great shower. We had our own private area to sit outside our house and the secure grounds of the hosts house were accessible to us at all times. It was so quiet and relaxing sunbathing by the pool in April even though the pool was freezing. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming but also gave us space to enjoy our holiday. Overall the holiday was perfect and relaxing and we would highly recommend it.

The view from the balcony of he Monastery was spectacular which my husband especially loved having been born and raised in beautiful San Lorenzo de El Escorial. We really enjoyed our stay.
