Lovely little character cottage in a quiet village location. Comfortable beds and nice bathroom. The bathroom is downstairs and the bedrooms upstairs up steep, narrow stairs no it might not be suitable for anyone with mobility issues. The washing machine was very useful and the croissants and breakfast items provided were a lovely addition. The host Christine was very kind and helpful in answering my questions and making sure we had a convenient parking space on the street outside. It was convenient for attending a wedding at Foxtail Barns and we had a lovely stay.

The property was very clean, perfect location for anyone visiting Alton towers, very comfy beds, lovely village, quiet, it had all of the appliances and supplies we needed for travelling with our baby, modern but also a nice homey cottage atmosphere. Would definitely come again and recommend to family and friends.

Veri nice small challet renovated with great taste offering perfect place for relax in the midlle of Peak District nature. Maybe two cars passed the road during the day, just two farms few hundreds meter nearby, but you are there alone with beautiful view of peaks. Fully equipped, comfort bathroom, living room with equiped kitchen, outdoor seating and own parking. Just to come, stay, read and relax. 20 minutes by car to Buxton or Leek in case you need to see people and shops.

The apartment is stunning - a beautiful old building in the middle of Leek. Everything is finished to a very high standard and the hosts were really helpful. There was even a Christmas tree in the lounge which was just magical. We would highly recommend booking in here and we hope to be back again to explore more of the area!

It was fabulously quirky, excellently equipped, and the decoration was perfect for the property. There was also an amazing breakfast selection. The owners were very friendly and helpful, even acting as a taxi to get us to and from a wedding we were attending. I could not recommend the Jewel in the Crown highly enough.

Spotlessly Clean, immaculately presented and cosy. Would stay again in a heartbeat If I was to offer one piece of advice, it would be to upgrade the mattress to a thicker/more luxurious offering. It seemed quite basic/cheap but I still slept well. Cannot fault anything else A++++

From the moment we arrived to be greeted with home baked flapjacks we knew we were in for a treat. Fantastic stay with lovely hosts and the best breakfast of our entire holiday. Would highly recommend!
