The accommodation is non-smoking. - The place is a bit further (yet still within walking distance) from the main touristy area. This makes it much calmer and less noisy - The weekend /weekday markets are across the street. You got a bit of an additional authenticity through those (plus you can easily buy delicious fruits) - The owner was extremely helpful with answering all of our questions about the place, the neighborhood and the town - We were also allowed to check out in the afternoon which was a huge help for us (by not having to spend hours in the summer heat while waiting for our shuttle)

He connected us with his cousin who gave us a great rate for the drive from Guatemala City straight to the property. There’s amazing street vendors for food literally every street you walk down, it’s right by the Mirador, a 5 minute walk to all the best parts of the city and 10 minutes walking to the lake. The view from the roof is beautiful. The property itself was really clean and spacious, and the beds were super comfy. I honestly can’t say enough. We loved our stay here.

Richard your host is the sweetest host ever , and makes amazing breakfast . Awesome place to relax and be one with nature .

The accommodation offers a fireplace. The place is absolutely beautiful, and very special. We really enjoyed our time there, watching the sunset or having breakfast with the spectacular view. The home made soap/shampoo were a very nice touch. Jenny and Clemens are very gracious hosts and extremely responsive and helpful. The kitchen was comfortable to cook basic things in. This place is definitely worth the effort and was one of our favorite stays during our trip.
