Maintenant nous savons qui est Abu :D L'accueil, la gentillesse et la bienveillance de Gerson et Carlos ont largement dépassé nos attentes. Ils nous ont répondu et aidé pour l'organisation des transfert, et autres activités. La vue est splendide. Des kayaks, paddle et vélos de lac sont à disposition. C'est situé dans le village de San Juan la Laguna mais en dehors du centre et sécuritaire pour s'y rendre sans soucis. C'est un éco hostel qui fonctionne à l'énergie solaire principalement, ne vous attendez pas au grand luxe, mais le confort des chambres et leur vue n'a rien à envier à d'autres établissements. This makes it much calmer and less noisy - The weekend /weekday markets are across the street. You got a bit of an additional authenticity through those (plus you can easily buy delicious fruits) - The owner was extremely helpful with answering all of our questions about the place, the neighborhood and the town - We were also allowed to check out in the afternoon which was a huge help for us (by not having to spend hours in the summer heat while waiting for our shuttle)

The host is AMAZING. He is beyond friendly and helpful. He connected us with his cousin who gave us a great rate for the drive from Guatemala City straight to the property. There’s amazing street vendors for food literally every street you walk down, it’s right by the Mirador, a 5 minute walk to all the best parts of the city and 10 minutes walking to the lake. The view from the roof is beautiful. The property itself was really clean and spacious, and the beds were super comfy. I honestly can’t say enough. We loved our stay here.

Beautiful view and location in a nice area on Lake Atitlan. Clemens was a great host and assisted in arranging private lanchas for arrival and departure. The kitchen facilities are nice to have and it is good to follow the suggestion to buy groceries in Panajachel before coming to the house. It is a very private location. Especially enjoyed the hammock and watching sunrises and sunsets from the porch.
