We loved to stay at "Posada Don Julio". The couple who owned it was so nice and friendly. Our room was clean, big and we loved to chill at our balkony right at the waterside. It feels like living in a boathouse. We heard our neighbours from above walking, which didn't disturbed us at all. The view is amazing and you can even see the sunrise in the morning as well. It was always easy to go by boat to Flores. Even when we had to be there early for our trip to Tikal "Julio" the Host ordered a boat for us. There is a well equiped outdoor kitchen, fridge and some nice chairs to chillout in the backyard. Everything is very clean. We would always come back to this cozy, sweet place.

The hotel is a little difficult to find, being down a small alley, but it's well worth the effort. It has great facilities, including a shared kitchen and lovely terrace area. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I booked a Tikal tour with them and they ensured that I was picked up that morning. The room itself was very comfortable. Hot water and a/c. We would happily have stayed longer.

The room is really great to spend some time relaxing, it’s a 2min trip with the boat from Flores (10Q per trip). The pool is really appreciated with the heat and the hammock as well. Also the man who was present in the hotel was super helpful and really nice, he made our stay amazing a big thank you to him.
