While the place is quite far from restaurants, it actually offers decent and rather affordable food and beverages. All made with TLC. Value for money was also excellent.

The gentleman who welcomed us was exceptionally kind and attentive throughout our stay. He greeted us with tea and water, always provided a delicious vegetarian breakfast (upon our request) at a time that suited us best, and was consistently thoughtful and caring—thank you for all!) The entire property was very clean, including the pool, which was immaculate—possibly because we were the only guests during our stay. Highly recommended!

The morning breakfast service was lovely and feels like home with Nasi Kuning menu mix with fried chicken and eggs and had a selection of sweet and savoury foods. The room that we had stayed in was clean, stylist, roomy and well equipped and comfortable. I would definitely will come back to the bincarung House in my future endeavors to Bogor, as it made my weekend with my colleagues and family holiday extra special. Everything about the villa was exceptional. I would highly recommend it and, in my humble opinion, I would give it 10/10.

If you have the time, staying here is a must. It was such a revelation after we had the busy streets of jakarta. Ari and Uiung are fantastic hosts, and speak good English. Together with Ibu and their other friends, they can give you a true local jungle experience, with local food, great views, and fresh fruit and spices straight from the plants and trees. We loved every bit of it. In hindsight, we probably should've stayed a bit longer than only the 2 nights we did. As you would expect, it is simplistic, but that is also the appeal. They build these houses themselves, showers, and kitchen themselves! It is a great opportunity to really connect with locals in a non-touristy area. Cianjur is easily reachable through shuttle buses from Jakarta, Bandung and Bogor, bookable through Traveloka.
