Beautiful room with a view overlooking the lake, the bed was the most comfortable we have stayed on our travels around Asia. The breakfast is delicious! Dila is really lovely and always tries to make her guests happy. We went snorkelling together and she showed me a beautiful waterfall. We often cooked together and the breakfast is always delicious. The room is clean and the bed is very comfortable.

Alek, the owner, is very available to help us to find the best guide to do a trek in the jungle during 3days to see Orangs outang and other monkeys. He helps us to do laundry, find a taxi to arrive and to leave Bukit Lawang. We visited the bat cave, the market on Friday and the recycling factory near the homestay. The room was comfortable, the bed was very big and comfortable too, with a mosquito net. You can swim every day in the river just in front of the guesthouse with a lot of local kids. There is a restaurant in the homestay or around. You can ask what you need to Alek, he knows every body in Bukit Lawang;-) Thank you Alek for your welcoming.

The location is a perfect base for jungle trekking but the best thing is the incredible staff and the amazing food. I’m genuinely sad to leave and it feels like I’m leaving my home.
