Stayed in the one bedroom apartment and it was awesome for a couple. Very clean, VERY spacious and very quiet. Had all the supplies you would need and the washer/dryer was greatly appreciated. The view was nice from the kitchen window. Couch was comfortable and TV had YouTube/streaming apps set up.

This recently renovated homestay is located 44 km from Galway Greyhound Stadium and 45 km from Roscommon Museum. When staying at the homestay, guests can use private entrance. We wanted to say to Mary a big ‘Thank You’ for a very comfortable and pleasant stay we had at Country Haven. The breakfast was amazing as was the room itself. Mary seemed to have thought of everything a person may potentially need while traveling and staying overnight with you. My husband has been working in the tourist industry for over 25 years and he mentioned that any private host that does business on Booking or AirB&B should come there for an internship ;). Offering a garden and garden view, Teresa's Cottage is set in Kilcolgan, 23 km from Eyre Square and 23 km from Galway Railway Station. This property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi. The property is non-smoking and is situated 22 km from Galway Greyhound Stadium. Wish we could have met Bill in person as very responsive and friendly on the phone. We were sorry we missed his visit and appreciated his nice note. The cottage was fully equipped and it was great to find scones awaiting us and some other sundries on a prettily laid table for breakfast the next day. Nice layout for two couples traveling together, even with a single bathroom. We enjoyed the fire and comfortable living area and well equipped kitchen. Had a fabulous dinner at the recommended Moran's. The country setting (including nearby donkeys!), with walks out the door, suited us and was centrally located to all we came for (such as the Cliffs of Moher by sea, the Burrens, St. Kilmacduagh, Leamaneh Castle, Ballyvaughan, Maumturk Mtns, the 12 Bens, Galway, Kylemore Abbey, Roundstone, Clifden). In wild and wooly weather, it was very good to head "home" to cozy lodgings.
