On our return to the room from a wedding near by (on a cold February night) Margaret had added a much appreciated touch, an electric blanket being turned on. A delicious continental breakfast awaited us the next morning with a vast array of fresh fruit, breads and cereals.

The house is amazing. Probably best one we have rented out of 40 houses over the last 20 years in various countries. Well equipped. Hosts could not have been nicer or more helpful. The local village is fine and has everything you need. No reason to leave the house though. We were three generations staying in the house and everyone was happy (amazing!).

We had a wonderful time, especially enjoying the BBQ on the veranda and the stunning view of the lake, which is also very close by. It’s so peaceful and calming, right on the lake. Micheal the owner checked on us now and then as we were 5 females aged 16-65 on our own we really appreciated that !Lovely kind man! It was large, clean and really well equiped. We were met by Hazel , she was so sweet and had the cottage heated and welcoming, even a nice welcome cake.
